could be too high of a nic content.
should go away with some adjusting.
Nicotine is a stimulant. same thing used to happen to me when i drank energy drinks or took adderall. Still happens sometimes if i drink too much coffee.

It sounds to me like an allergic reaction. Does it happen with a single brand or with multiple brands.

My guess is that it is a reaction to a flavoring ingredient.

If you have a different brand and flavor profile of snus try that and see what happens (before you do please make sure you have an antihistamine (e.g. Benadryl) on your person).

A reaction that restricts airflow is not something to try and just play through.

Keep us posted and be careful

Anyone else get this? will it go away with continued use? I hope so because other than this effect I really like snus, sooo much more than smoking. Googled it and apparently nicotine gum can cause 'apparant' tightening of the throat muscles as a side effect.
Welcome, Minus. I've never had that problem, even with higher nicotine snuses. I hope it's not a continued problem for you, and that its just a case of your body reacting to something new.
