My only issue now is that since I've quit my lungs have been feeling TERRIBLE. I'm congested, and I feel like there is junk I can't cough up. I've been taking chest congestion cough syrup, using a humidifier, and uing my inhaler to try to get the gunk out, which helps for a bit til it all wears off. I'm not coughing as much as I was on the first day, but my lungs feel really heavy and stuffy.

That's your system cleaning itself out. If it's that bad get some mucinex and take it for a couple days and that should do the trick.... Mucinex is guiefenesin and is a good expectorant. Just don't buy the one with DM because that's counterproductive for you application....

What up rooski? I know my meds because I had a sickly childhood and was always effed. Hell about 20 yrs ago I had the lower lobe of my left lung removed. the year Prior to that I had spent 2 weeks in the hospital and nearly died. So yeah when it comes down to respiratory meds I know em. Shit guafenesin was only available by prescription when I first took it. It was called guaifed at that time....... So yeah I know what breathing shitty is like..... and know how to make it better.... for the most part....

Damn Blue, sounds rough. I didn't know all that. Yeah guafenesin is useful stuff. The dextromethorphan or whatever is shitty. I always go straight guaf myself, unless I have some particularly persistent nighttime cough. Good talk!
