addictivness of nicotine

Do you know what I find interesting? Nicotine; of course everyone here knows about its addictive nature but, what I find interesting is that ..well...all the other drugs of addiction...cocaine, ecstasy, all the opiates, amphetamines; and by the way I've done them all that why I have this reference but, all of those make u feel extremely good. Cocaine gives you a rush to make you feel like your on top of the world, heroin gives a lazy warm rush that makes you feel like everything is perfect in your life making you feel great, amphetamines is about on the same page with coke..... and ecstacy puts all of those to shame when it coms to feelings of intense pleasure. But with nicotine, there's nothing terribly badass about the high. Its hard to explain but its not like the 'gritting your teeth' intense pleasure accosiated with all the others. But yet, oddly enough...its more addicting. Or at least in my opinion it is. I'm a regular snuser and have been out for about 5 hours now...was too tired after a long day at work to go to the tabacco shop and pick up a can of General. Yeah sadly, that's all they have there, but still good. Anyway, I have been sitting here thinking; testing if you will, to see how addictive it really is. I don't use hard illigal drugs ona daily basis, but still do them when I go clubbing or to parties and such but; that being said, I'm sitting here thinking what I would want to have laid out before me the most. Cocaine, herion, crank all passed my mind one by one. And when I got to snus, I felt my eyes get wide and my body raised up a little bit. Haha amazing. Like I said, there's really nothing over the top about it. I don't get high from it anymore because of my tolerance. When I do catch a buzz from not using for a while, I start feeling it about 10 minutes after putting the snus in my mouth and for about 20 minutes after that and then when I take it out, a few minutes after that, I'm at baseline. So not only do you build a tolerance to it but its extremely fast acting and the high is not that amazing. But there's something about this plant. I'm thinking about having a portion of Gen in my mouth right now and I'm salavating profusely and I'm to the point of where I just can't take itI want one so bad. And to knwo that snussing is the safest way to take the plant; one can pretty much take it this way for a lifetine without suffering any negative effects healthwise,......shit shit hshit...I know that I'm going to be using this for the rest of my life. But in my opinion its a good addiction. Haha I don't know, it sounds like I'm just another addict defending a drug. I did this same thing back in my weed smoking days with the marijuana plant but....I don't know. Bottomline, I just like it. And I'm sure that all you people feel the same way that I do about it. I mean...hahaha.... Were in a forum talking about. I mean look at the name of this site...."snusOn.com". Hahaha. That's funny. Were a bunch of nic addicts. Nothing better to be addicted to though huh? ;-) I mean can you imagine this being something like "crackOn.com" and you come and see people write shit like..."hahaha that's quite a predicament...I suggest using 2 pins to mash the steel wool down the hitter so u don't burn ur finger tips" lol. Well I think I'm going to bed now. Keep snussin!

Interesting Post that is.. I feel the same way about snus and have only recently started using it on a daily basis, I have never tried any of the drugs you mentioned above and dont think I ever will, just a personal choice. However all the research done on snus makes me feel alright about using it on a daily basis without having to worry about to many negative consequences. so... SnusOn!

It's a shame that this natural medicine, rivaled in potency and efficacy only by the coffee bean, has been stigmatized.

t's more addictive because instead of giving you those intense feelings, which i've experience the same except for heroin and amphets, but cigarettes give you the means to calm down. it like having someone with you when you do those drugs, cause usually you need to have someone there to help chill you out. but you only need a little money, and its like you have 20 friends who have your back....haha thats my explanation.
