For those of you who have to deal with health insurance, did you have to report your snus usage? If so, how much extra is your premium?

I did have to report tobacco use but after I quit smoking and tried to redo my insurance to lower it (sneaking snus), I was informed that it would not raise or lower the price. They said they do not use tobacco use anymore as a marker for coverage. Medica.

Others like Blue Cross- Blue SHield did ask and used tobacco use as reason to increase rates. I am pretty sure most do but not certain.

I think so. They have to spend 80% of the money you give them on actual health care, and no pre-existing bs so maybe.
