I went to the dr and got zyban then sold my Snus to one of our drivers who dips. He is enjoying Snus! Ok so im on the zyban for 3 weeks now and its hell. It worked for 2 weeks now im craving really bad. I want Snus! I was avoiding the boards here but I like these boards! And I love Snus! If I cave again my partner will be so disappointed in me...
Just venting. But fyi zyban sucks.....

Hang in there, if you really want to quit...you will. I am curious though, why are you trying to quit snus? Okay, maybe it's more nosey than curious, lol

Yeah - good luck with that. Went a whole year without smoking once. I wanted a cigarette just about every single day.

Good luck if you really want to quit. All Zyban does is act as a stress reliever. If stress isn't the trigger for you wanting to use snus, then it ain't gonna do s**t. Plus it makes you fat.

Rick I been trying several times. More for my partner than for me. Im not a zyban fan. I've gained 4 lbs on this crap! I need to talk to him and tell him im just not ready to quit. This will be a fun conversation. Not.
Im now rolling with 3 cans of General. Stopped on the way home.... offical fail. Again.
            Speedo.

Don't do that to yourself! If you aren't ready to quit yet, then it's NOT a fail! It's only fail if YOU want to quit and don't.

Seems to me it's a relationship problem, and not a quitting problem. Forcing your own petty desires on someone over a pleasure that is harmless for all intents and purposes is a dick move. You're jumping through hoops because that dude doesn't like the idea of snus. Substitute "flowers", "jazz", "coffee", whatever for snus, to see how ridiculous, and controlling it is.

and sadly ^^^^^ this too. It seems you have some issues to work out with your partner, instead of beating yourself up for using a product that is virtually harmless. Ask him to give up something of equal importance and difficulty, before attempting to quit yourself. Who knows maybe it can be something that you both can do together ;-)

I agree with this. I could see a big fuss over smoking, but SNUS?!?! Whats this world coming to.....

Well we sat down and talked. I explained that I was trying to quit more for him than me. And it wasn't working. And I didn't like the zyban. He was ok with it all. He has never had a nic. Addiction and is seeing what its like. Basically I will quit when im ready. He is concerned about health issues but overall understands. So. Im placing an order today and trying to buy back a few cans from our driver when he hits town again!
                        Thanks for the support all!

Sounds good Speedo. That's a reasonable position to take from both sides :^)

Once again communication saves the day. Great you found someone willing to listen to your side.
