No, nearly all Swedish snus (Ettan, General, etc..) maintains at about 2 ppm. I used to have the link readily at hand, but can't find it right now. Camel snus has about the same. Believe it or not, Red Man chewing tobacco has less TSNA's than snus, but it's the sugar that will rot your teeth if you don't have good oral hygiene. I use dip made by Pinkerton tobacco (subsidiary of Swedish Match), it is the only dip on the market with a 7.5 ppm of TSNA and the TSNA's will not increase exponentially with shelf life unlike the other brands.

It costs me $2.75 a can. I've never counted the pinches, but a can lasts me a little over a day. A can of los snus, despite containing more grams, lasts me the same amount of time because I can't keep it in as long due to eventual mudslide. So you could say I'm spending $2.75 a day on dip vs. over $5.00 a day for snus once taxes/shipping are included. I know you can't put a price on health, but I just can't spend that much a day on tobacco, so the least I could do for myself is use the lowest TSNA dip on the market. Granted, it doesn't taste as good as the other brands, but I will never go back to Copenhagen and others. They are just too high in carcinogens for me to enjoy it.Originally posted by EricHill78 View Posthow much does that dip cost per tin/pouch and how many pinches do you get?

I think so. That, and the fact that you have to use more of it because it contains much less nicotine per portion. Actually, here is the link from a previous Snuson thread that talks about all this stuff. See post #11 for the link to the TSNA chart (if the link still works). Of course, these studies were done quite some time ago, but not much has changed in current production methods that I'm aware of. I think it's time someone fund another TSNA test to support the Harm Reduction crusade.Originally posted by jdman321 View PostSo why do some people think Camel is worse for you than say, General? Is it the sugar in it?

EDIT: Actually, I don't know if I've heard that Camel Snus is worse (health wise), I just know it's worse in the sense of quality.
