wierd stickers on cans from northerner

I received my first shipment from northerner today, And i noticed they tuck stickers on all the cans that says in english THIS PRODUCT MAY CAUSE CANCER and on the sides cause guma nd tooth loss. but like it doesnt say it on the accuall can i dont think . Can someone explain why this is?

Welcome to the board. Because of the US laws there has to be warnings so northerner adds the stickers to comply. I just got an order couple weeks ago from www.buysnus.com no stickers cause it came straight from Sweden.

Im sorta paranoid about losing , I been smoking for 4 years, I know its worse but i dont see the harm so i dont get paranoid hahahahah. if i brush my teeth and floss 3 times a day will it really do much?

I don't know... The original Swedish warning is "Denna tobaksvara kan skada din hälsa och är beroendeframkallande". Meaning "This tobacco product may harm your health and is addictive". There is no cancer warnings here in Norway or in Sweden, but I guess they aren't allowed to sell in America without those warnings. I believe that's why.

We had cancer warnings here in Sweden before also. But scientists have found no real evidence that snus does cause cancer, so they had to remove it. But since it's tobacco, and the governments "hate" tobacco, they had to put some kind of warning there. That's why it says like "Hey, we are not sure that this tobacco product may harm your health. But it's addictive (!!!!)".

If you loose your teeth then it has to do with genes. Snus or no snus. Although, snus may speed the process up a bit if you have rudiment for it. But then you would have to be a chainsnuser who throws up half a can twenty times a day. I wouldn't be scared if I were you. Smoking is much more bad for when it comes to tooth loss.

I wish Northerner would make the stickers easier to peel off. They could place them on halfway so peeling the sticker wouldn't remove the logos from the cans.

Snus can cause gum recession. How much depends on the individual. I've been using snus for going on 4 years, and the recession is minimal. What I do have, could also be partially attributed to getting old :^D Just keep an eye on your mouth, switch snus locations, and DON'T brush too much. I wouldn't brush more than twice per day. More than that won't increase cleanliness, but will increase wear.

As to cancer... L oh F'n L. That's 100% BS. Don't trust the government for quality information. Look for peer reviewed research papers from reputable organizations. They'll tell you the truth, without the anti-tobacco zealotry you get from the government ;^)

When I got my shipment, most of them peeled off cleanly, but certain ones didn't, such as goteborgs rape and catch eucalypus, those labels seem to be made of some type of sticky foil, which tore off with the stickers.

That happened with my General mini portions as well Mike. Next shipment I'll try some different sticker remover solutions to see if I can pull them off without ruining the labelling

I agree 100%.......... ive noticed if i pull the stickers off as soon as i get the snus they come off better but not great. most times when i pull the sticker off the top of N&J the whole top label comes off. stickers suck.... errr i mean stickers stick and suck
