LOL... Yes, I've heard this as well. Apparently giving a stimulated person a stimulant calms them down... Go figure.

Snus and associated products have allowed me to enjoy tobacco without a nicotine addiction. For me, smoking really hammers home the desire for a nic fix, but with snus/snuff I don't get cravings.

Although I love to take a huge pinch or prilla and buzz hard every once in a while.

If you aren't already addicted to nicotine - don't take snus.

        The End.

Everyone who has ever handled nicotine knows of it's therapeutic attributes. I'd say if you want to treat something with nicotine, do it with snus. Otherwise, don't even start.

Snus certainly doesn't cause sever mental withdrawal like cigarettes, but I usually start getting a moderate craving if I go without snus for more than 20 minutes. That's why I have a portion in probably 90% of the time I am awake.

I've noticed that, as a relatively new user of nicotine (a few months), it does have a therapeutic quality to it. It tends to act as a mood stabilizer, and "corrects" some of those introverted tendencies that I have. Also sharpens concentration.

However, I've since quit using it because I feel it isn't worth the potential health risks and the pain-in-the-ass addictive qualities that go with it.

20 minutes lol that's nothing, no offense but try telling that to someone yeah I'm not that addicted I'm fine for like 20 minutes without nicotine.

I started using snus without previously smoking at all except for a couple of cigars. My main issue is the cost other than that I don't have a problem with the fact it's addictive.
