Acne from snus ou from quitting smoking?

Hi guys.

Since I started snusing and quit smoking I noticed a lot of improvements in my health. But acne is atacking.

I had never had a lot of acne even in the puberty phase.

I quit smoking with the help of snus two months ago and at first I start noticing that my skin was better, more shiny and less grey. But I start having a lot more acne than I used to, specially in my chin and around my mouth and under the nose.

I don't know if any of you guys experienced these symptoms and I'm not sure if it has something to do with the smoking cessation or with the snus itself. Maybe there's some ingredient in snus that's causing it, really don't know.

My usual snus has been general portions, general onyx, grovsnus black and Ettan portions.

By the way, I'm 35 now.

More than likely your snus usage has altered your diet or fluid intake in some way that is resulting in more acne (i.e. I drink WAY more coffee now than I did before snus). I have never heard of a correlation between snus and acne, or nicotine and acne. Although, nicotine does constrict blood vessels so this will have effects on your skin with long-term usage.

The best bet is to keep the face cleansed and drink plenty of water.

The same thing happened to me,I developed some monster zits on my face soon after starting with snus,I think the acne comes from swallowing the juice,but now I wash my face daily with an acne scrub and the pimples have almost faded away in just a few days,frankly,I wish I knew about this stuff when I was a teenager,I am 55 now,anyway,I use Olay Total Effect but any scrubbing cleanser will do

I developed acne whenever I quit smoking without snus. When I quit with the aid of snus, I only developed a negligible amount of acne.
