I really hope I don't get another letter from them. I had to an enormous back-tax bill (thanks to a screw up at their end) only to have them call me and tell me I still owe them penalty charges for paying too late. Turns out they made a mistake as I paid on time and they ended up owing me money for incorrectly calculating the back-tax bill. Got to love HMRC and their inability to calculate taxes... -

Got to love them though. I've heard if you make a mistake they demand immediate payment, charge you penalties and take you to court but if they make a mistake then that's different and if you're actually due a rebate then that's a long, long time coming.Comment
