AZ Law not racist according to White House

So the White House is bringing a lawsuit against Arizona for their immegration law, as expected.

BUT, they say they are not going to even mention anything about race since there is no evidence that there is anything racist about it and is far too weak of an argument to ever prove in court.

They are instead suing Arizona on the basis of Federal Law trumps state law, and therefore AZ has no authority to make or enforce new or existing immegration laws other than what the feds tell them too.

I think this is insane because the Feds have not done their duty in enforcing Immegration laws, which is why the AZ came into being in the first place, and also why up to 14 other states are considering legislation similar to that of the AZ law.

So, Nothing racist about this law, and even the whitehouse could not make a case for it. I hope this settles it once and for all.

Yep. If I was the AZ boss, I'd get big school buses, and all the illegals I pick up, I'd put them on the buses, and drive them to DC, and just let them off the bus at a park, having them sign and agree to never come back to AZ.

They should of just been enforcing existing laws to the full extent.

Now they are going to be in stand still for another decade.

The law was to bring attention to an issue that administration after administration has been ignoring. An issue that greatly affects the state and the economy as a whole. So they won since they got the spotlight.

But the reason they passed this law is because only federal employees could enforce the federal law, this new law allows the state police to enforce federal immegration law since the feds were not enforcing it. They are using existing law and existing verification precedures. Really it just says that if the cop thinks your illegal they can use existing federal identification methods to verify citizenship. So really the feds still run it, it just allows AZ police to force the feds to acnowledge the problem.

sgreger, this issue has not been ignored. Immigration laws and our nations borders have been actively undermined by the corruption machine in D.C. for as far back as I can remember. This country is ruled by traitors.

Remember Article 4 of the US Constitution? Recall its key words: “shall protect each of them [the states] against Invasion”?

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

I think all government positions should work like jury duty, not elections. This would eradicate a lot of the corruption IMO.

Amen to that. What's that one quote? It goes something like "I'd rather have the first 100 names in the phone book run the country than these career politicians".

We should have part time legislators that also work at other jobs. Shit would get done quicker and with less corruption and backroom deals, and Congress would not be allowed to give themselves a raise each year while wages remain stagnant for the rest of us. There needs to be a clear conflict of interest policy for all federal positions as well. For example, if you were an exec at Goldman Sachs, you cannot run the treasury dept because it is an obvious conflict of interest. Ex BP executives cannot work at the MSM and regulate oil drilling for BP.

Common sense here people, common sense.

Every citizen is entitled to equal treatment under the law, but we don't have that today. Among all americans only those of european descent are not just legally discriminated against, but discrimination is legally mandatory in the form of quotas, set-asides, and every other form of "affirmative action". Now, turn the page, disregard state propaganda about nine point something or other unemployment rates, the true rate is more like 21%. Why on earth would I support importing more people who are going to be given perfectly legal (if immoral) preferrences over my children in the competition for jobs and seats in college classrooms?

My preference, and I believe this is in the best interrests of my people, is not just halting illegal immigration and deporting illegals, but with 21% unemployment we need a complete moratorium on all immigration.

It's a real bitch being white isn't it? Man, the shit we have to deal with. I'm sick of this oppression. Minorities have it so much better.

This is really kind of distressing... I find myself agreeing with dxh.

We send "lawmakers" to "legislatures" and wonder why we become less free. That's like sending plumbers to a construction site and then being amazed that they installed plumbing.
