well, the forum is titled "people and the world around us". yes, che was a douche bag.

My posts are mainly aimed at those who watch AbC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, read the NYT and USA Today and think they are enlightened. You know, drones. You might have noticed a few around here, with Castro avatars, spouting the greatness of Che and that idiot Olbermann. Aside from the Olbermann fan, they have been much quieter lately. Maybe it's working. But hey, if you're offended, perhaps you should avoid clicking threads titled "the greatest president in 100 years" within the "people and the world around you" forum? Just a thought.

I was only suggesting that there are better battlegrounds for you out there. Are you not interested in more enthusiastic opponents? This IS a "snus community".

Typical of the right. They have some kind of weird persecution syndrome. Someone's always out to get them. Whether it's the communists from the 50s, hippies from 60s, druggies from the 80s, or terrorists today. My count on the last 2 pages shows 6 right wing threads, 5 left wing threads(including my Palin thread, which is really only for humor purposes. She's a walking joke :^D), and 1 from sgreger1 which is attacking Michael Steele. I wasn't sure where to clasify that as Sgreger's generally right wing, but this post was an anomaly. The rest are neutral, or don't apply.

Ok I went to page 5, and there's more left wing stuff on pages 3-5, mostly due to Joe. I have 19 left, 6 right, and 5 uncertain on pages 3-5

Postings and commentary from Statists were plentiful, I saw a need. I'm interested in spreading the gospel, not arguing with retards. If they feel less comfortable and post less crap and few people listen to a marvelous Reagan speech, instead of the drivel, I've accomplished something worthwhile. The headlines I posted were largely ignored in the mainstream media, maybe joe 6 pack snuser, sees something he otherwise would not have?

I know plenty of leftists with weird persecution syndromes. The communists from the 50s, 60s. 70s, 80s, 90s and today, were/are out to "get" us. The smelly, hippy, communists of the 60s are now in charge and they are definitely out to get "us" and "fundamentally change" the country. Druggies were never "out to get" anyone I know, but I'm pretty sure Islamic fundamentaists have declared jihad on western civilization. I heard they killed thousands in NYC. I'd like to kill them, before they can kill us. Now, if they were somehow to restrict their attacks to smelly, hippy, communists...I'd say go ahead, apologize, close gitmo, bring our boys home, try to pacify the Iranian mullahs, bow to every two bit dictator, read them their miranda "rights", tell them exactly how long and under what circumstances they would be water boarded, better yet, tell them we will NOT water board them, even if we KNOW they know of specific, imminent plans to kill thousands more etc. But I'm afraid they'd like to kill all infidels, so I'd prefer we fight to win.

Re; Mrs.Palin, I wanted it to be different but I honestly believe she's just an oportunist trying to make the most of an oportunity. There are times I wax enthusiastic about her, like when all the MSM weenies start dog piling on her and I beging to wonder why they are so incensed, what do they know about her that I dont, and then she turns around and does something totally brainless like endorsing that McInsane creature.

Sure there are plenty of lefties with persecution complexes. Has everyone already forgotten Hillary's "vast right wing conspiracy"? How 'bout the fact that there's a "brown scare" (google it) every time there's a democrat in the white house and Fibbies start showing up at militia meetings. Let's not forget the fact that Obama's DHS is sending out memos to law enforcement agencies accross the nation warning men with badges and guns of the terroristic proclivities of Tea party enthusiasts, people who believe in the constitution, Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin supporters as well as returning war veterans.

Gotta wonder if Obama's fear of veterans isn't the reason why he wants to keep these wars going, like maybe he's afraid that if he brings the army home they'll decide to liberate us from the nanny staters in D.C..

I have to admit that I am very impressed by the amount of respect (or is it tolerance) that the moderators have in regards to people posting their personal beliefs, no matter how nutty they are, in this forum. I cannot tell you how many forums I am unable to post to because I wrote some comment about animal rights or something like that, no matter how respectful I tried to be. I also believe that there is room for this in a forum as long as comments don't become personal attacks. On example I see all the time is that I have a feeling that this forum is at least sponsored by Northerner and yet I see complaints about Northerner all over the place. On the other hand, try to posts pro snus comments in an anti tobacco forum and I doubt they will be there for long.
