I don't know. It looks like she is a politician to me. At least she didn't suggest that Alaska would capsize.
1. How should she answer this? Probably the only newspaper she reads is her hometown news. Reading a newspaper is a very inefficient way of getting your news in 2008. Most executives have a staffer that compiles a daily news brief from multiple sources. Is it in her interest to mention this? Probably not, because while it is the right way to do it in terms of efficiency and coverage (multiple sources), it seems elitist to "average joe". On the other hand she could have said that she reads a well-known newspaper. New York Times? Liberal rag. Wall Street Journal? Conservative Capitalist Dogma. Washington Post. Nazi propaganda. USA Today? Does that even qualify? etc. Then, should a politician on the national stage be advertising for any newspaper by name? I'd think that would be kind of inappropriate - kind of like the PETA fur deal.
2. Without googling, how many other Supreme Court decisions can you cite without sounding goofy? How many of those do you disagree with? I am reasonably interested in the Supreme Court, but, by name I can only think of 3 right now. Plessy v Ferguson, Brown v Board of Education and US v Miller. I don't completely disagree with any of them. I disagree with how US v Miller was later interpreted, but the central finding I agree with. If I was a politician I probably would answer like she did. "There are probably others, but as vice-president this doesn't impact my job". I could probably think of a couple others, in the general sense, that I don't agree with, but I could not cite them and, "That one about the eminent domain" sounds goofy. I prefer my politicians to NOT be lawyers, so your opinion here may vary.
3. Probably blown out of proportion. Does the Governor of Alaska have more foreign policy experience then a "community organizer" from Chicago (or a freshman Senator)? Probably. Does the Governor of Alaska have more foreign policy experience then the Governors of about 30 other states? Probably. Are surveillance missions flown from Alaska to "watch" the Russians? Yep. Is she the commander of the Alaskan National Guard? Yep. Do they alert on airspace invasions? Yep. etc.

1 - You answer truthfully. lxskllr, what do you read to get your news? I don't read as much as I used to. I get my news primarily from NPR and BBC radio. When I do read, I like Arstechnica online for the technology centered news which covers new trends, as well as their interaction with old laws.
2 - It's not my job to know. I'm not in public office with aspirations to the highest office in the land who'se job it is to uphold the constitution ;^)
3 - She should just STFU about foreign policy instead of making up bullshit. The correct answer, is "I don't have foreign policy experience, but I do have advisors who are well versed in foreign policy". This shit isn't too difficult if you have half a brain....

You may not agree with Obama's politics, but a "moron"? Please.
I love the dragging up sound-bites to prove who is more stupid threads.

I am sorry, but I just think she is leaps and bounds dumber then Obama.
She could have been truthful, I would respect her for that.
But she supports the murder of wolves from planes.
She made Alaskan women pay for their rape kits...what kind of f'd up person does that? Pay to prove you were assaulted? what the hell is she smoking.

video #3. When she speaks of Alaskas air space toward the end. I believe that she is quite familiar with air space as that is mostly what is in her head.
don't get me started on big OGrant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
