I want to know what places you guys (and gals) would rather live in than where you live now.
If you could live anywhere other than where you live now, where would it be?

I've always wanted to live in China for a while. I almost packed everything up and moved there 5 years ago but decided at the last minute that doing so without a job lined up was kind of a stupid thing to do. I'll probably get pissed on with some commie comments for that one lol. But I love China, I go as often as I can. I studied in Guilin, China and would love to move back there if there was a viable job opportunity. Living somewhere on the Mediterranean would be pretty sweet. If I had to move out of the Pacific Northwest I would consider other countries before other domestic locales, Hawaii not included. That sentiment will probably get me a lot of flack from some people but so be it. There are lots of places in Europe I would love to live in. What about you Wade?

Well I have been on the verge of moving to Seattle for the past eight years or so, and have actually been saving money to move there next summer, but lately I think I would like to leave the states. Scandinavia looks like a nice area to me. Maybe somewhere in Asia also. I don't know.

I wouldn't mind living in Central Florida or if I could afford it, Hawaii. It might be nice to live in Fiji or American Samoa. I really wouldn't want to live in many places except in the States or an American territory. Maaaaaaybe Canada, but I freakin' hate the cold. Anywhere else, and you have different laws, customs, or language. I don't care to have to get used to that. I used to want to live in Japan, but now I just rather take an extended holiday there. Culture shock would be far too great to live there.
The US is in some deep shit, and we have some major problems, but I'd probably rather live here than anywhere else. The end.

Iceland tops a lot of lists as the best place to live from what Iv'e been reading. My tattoo artist lives there 6 months of every year and he loves it, he's trying to convince his wife to make the permanent move.

I might be going to Iceland in the Fall. Germany's nice, I lived in Munich for a couple years around age 12 and loved it. Move to Seattle Wade! Today is literally the first day in something like 276 days that the temp is over 75. Previous record for no days above 74 degrees was 254. The weather does suck here, except between now and October, then it's perfect.
Edit: Through October-Mid November. I love Fall

This is a serious retirement plan. Somewhere between Italy and Austria. Looking closest to the Rimini, Italy area.
