That'll be great! I usually get up pretty early in the morning. Way before the sun comes up and this white theme blinds the hell out of me. A nice dark theme would really help me ease into the garish light of day.

Making it light and large sort of defeats the point of a dark theme in the first place.

get a copy of f.lux for your computer... it dials down your monitor color temperature after sunset, surprised how well it works for me.

Ok, anyone that wants to use this, I've got it functional, but with some glitches, and ugly parts throughout. If wanted, you can install this using the Stylish addon for Firefox...

This may work with other browsers using Greasemonkey, but I haven't tried it. I'm not going to upload this as an official style, at least at this point. There's a ton of slop, and I really don't know what I'm doing at this point. On my immediate to do list, I want to change the image at the top of the page, and get rid of the forum stats box completely. I've gotten so it can't be expanded which is a positive start, but I'd like to eliminate it completely. There's a bunch of little issues also, but I like it well enough to use at this point.

For those that want to try this, first install the Stylish addon above, and restart Firefox. You'll then have a greyed out "S" icon in your status bar below the window. Click that, expand "Write new style" menu, and select "Blank style". Give it a name in the name field, then Put this into the main body...

Then save it. You should then immediately have a dark theme. If you don't like it, you can click the now colored "S", and disable or uninstall it and go back to usual.

I guarantee nothing, but so far it's working ok for me. If you hose your Firefox install or something, you've been warned :^P

As I said, I'm a rank amateur as far as this goes, so it isn't super quality work. I'll continue trying to work out the bugs, and polish it up, but eventually I may have to give up. It's a lot for me to figure out without reading everything there is to know about html and css.

Also, you may have unpredictable results on the Home page of SnusOn. I've been concentrating on the forums, and while the Home page is readable, there's a few elements I'm not completely happy with. I haven't looked at Auctions, or the rest of the site at all.

Ok, I'd hold off on this. For some reason it's darkening other pages on the web. I /think/ the code I posted is ok, and it's other edits I've made, but I want to be sure :^/
