To Sagedil: A thank you and a farewell

I always wanted to post this pic into a sage thread, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings. It just cracked me up when I ran across it.

Sage (pronounced as “sah-geh”) is a word entered into the e-mail field of any *chan image board (aka “Futaba-style boards”). Excellent post Roo. My sentiments exactly. This Thursday will be my one year anniversary of being a member of SnusOn. Sage was the first one to welcome me, and help me quit smoking. I'm 95% positive that I would not have stuck with snus if it wasn't for his advice and words of encouragement. I've laughed with him many times. I've seen him help countless others after me. I remember the solider who couldn't get snus and Sage set something up for him. I remember when his "beloved" Retro was discontinued and I never got a chance to try it, yet he still gave me to cans of it in a trade. His advice on snus and snuff was the best. His generosity and kindness was what made me stay here. I'm glad that he and Deeanne found each other, and wish them both all the happiness in the world. SnusOn does have a different feeling to it now then it did a year ago. I know it's the internets and all, but the homeliness doesn't feel as strong for me as it used to be. I'm sure Sage felt the same way. I've met a lot of really good people on here, some before me, some after me, and Sage was one of the best. btw, good to hear from you BrianC! People come and people go on message boards, I just hate to see someone go like Sage did. He was a HUGE part of what made SnusOn what it was. No B.S, just a group of people talking about a tobacco product and shootin' the shit.

If sagedil leaves because he doesn't agree with the general development of the forum, then it's his decision, but if he gets banned for stating his opinion then I can only think that some people here are acting as if they're using nicotine gums rather than snus.

I don't know what to say.

Farewell, sagedil and thank you for all the questions that you've answered, that turned many people who otherwise would have left again after two postings into valued members of this forum!

sage helped my transition tremendously when I started snusing 2 years ago. Cigarettes are almost a forgotten part of my life now, but one would have never expected me to quit then. sage you will be missed.

I think sage might come back, he(anyone) just can't take a forum too seriously, it's really minute in the grand scale of things. As far as the vip thing is, no one has to join it. Just post, have fun with it, never take it personal or serious.

He was not banned, at least I do not think so, he was suddenly unable to log onto the site as Sagedil, he had to log back in as Sagedil2, but there are missing posts now, his final reply is one of the missing ones, really distorts the original thread, I cannot recall his last post, some one says they snabbed it and have it on record. He may of edited out his own message, who knows, it all happened in the blink of an eye Sunday morning. The missing posts are like watching a censored showing of Easy Rider, you know where they cut out the part where Hopper flips off the redneck, all you get to see is the redneck shooting him and you just go ?????. Like that.

People, I come here to discuss tobacco and world events with men, please stop acting like a bunch of teenage women on their periods, always threatening to leave and throwing a tantrum at everything. IT'S THE INTERNET. And I don't just mean Sage, it seems that every time there is some little problem we have an exodus of members who loudly proclaim they are leaving. We are not boyfriend and girlfriend here people, just a bunch of dudes chilling in a snus lounge, if you decide to get up and go chill elsewhere, don't cry on your way out.
