The problem is liberals tend to only believe in freedom of their own speeches.

You're right. I was a had a knee jerk reaction to the troll accusation.

Everyone should be afforded free speech.

My intention has never been to be a troll or disrupt this forum.

Now when are we going to get a larger assortment or smileys here?
It's quite limited. I miss the stuck out tongue.

Yah our old smileys were way better. I wonder if they can add more? Would be sweet to have a whole assortment of them like some other forums do. And you can only post 4 pics per post, which means only 4 smileys which also sucks.

                          Why I like Hitler.

I first must say, I find Hitler's Nazi Third Reich quite an enigma, it's like a blend of the top good, and the worst bad in one element. I 100% disagree with extreme enthocentrism, and oppression of others based on this. Though, if we look at the realities of the 3rd Reich, we find quite a lot of this, is war propaganda, with the intention to paint Nazi Germany as the supreme evil, so we can fire bomb cities such as Dresden and such. We, as the USA, do this with it's enemies, such as we did with Iraq, and it's WMDs. I also 100% dislike and no not agree with the many criminal thugs around the world who like to pretend they are nazis, misuing, and abusing the terms and symbology of that era. The scum you see in American prison documentary shows, and on Jerry Springer. These people are simply scum, criminals and lowlifes, and if they were in the real nazi Germany, they would be in prison there as well, if not in front of a firing squad. So, the 3rd Reich undoubtedly has it's negatives in it's history, but then again, so does the USSR, and the USA. often times, being worse in reality, than the Nazis.

Then again, on the other side of the coin, we have in that short span of history, the most advanced nation in our modern history. In terms of science, technology, and social system. Just about every modern advancement we have today, is directly linked to the practices of the 3rd Reich, be it work vacations, seat belts, rocketry, space travel, medicine, technology, etc, etc, if it were not for the 3rd reich, we, and the world would not have the advancements we have today. This, along with an intellect based society, of order, asthetics, and art, and a utopian vision, and a leader, while flawed, was a great leader in history. He did make big tactical mistakes, which all led to it's downfall. But while it lasted, it was the top.

So, I admit, I have a facisnation with this era. I do not deny it had it's negatives, but what doesn't. But I do think if these negatives were removed, we have the greatest regime in modern recorded history. So, it's an enigma, more than any other aspect in history.

Though, I would not call myself "pro-Hitler". I would call myself, pro-"Progressive Libertarian National Socialist".

Lol, this sentence makes my head want to explode.

Heres a question for everyone though, and I am curious as to the answer:

After the fall of germany, all those scientists that experimented on the jews in the concentration camps etc were brought to America secretly as part of Project Paperclip. Their records were cleaned of any war crimes they commited so that they could be of service to our country in the fight against the russians. People like Von Braun. This team of highly advanced scientists catapulted us into the future in only a few short years, giving us a military edge and eventually sending us to space.

So the question is, was it the "right" thing to do. Was it worth the benefit we gained from them, considering we essentially hired some of the most evil people in the world who had been testing on live humans by the thousands. Was it okay to give them a pass becase they were of use to us?

It's a catch 22, yes we couldn't have done it without them, but at the same time, is it like making a deal with the devil? Sure you get what you want, but you have to sell your soul in the process. If we didn't do it, we may not have won, but at the same time, we exploited the jews by letting the germans do this testing and then employed those same scientists ourselves. Was that the right thing to do?
