They should not allow politicizing questions for these pagents. They don't ask Mr. Olympia such things.

While I can see why you would post this.....

To me this isn't news, not even close.
Pageants are privately ran and operated, you take what you get.
Pageants mean absolutely NOTHING to the world. NOTHING.
You may say whatever you want but you must be aware that it is a GAME and must be played.
What is allowed is determined by the OWNERS of the pageant, not by the public. Pageants are not a democratic process.(Political Democracy)

I dont watch these deals but from what I was investigating it does show there is a clear slant towards the far left in these pageants. Not really surprising but what was surprising to me was her fringe view which I agree with.

I agree...however, once chosen as Miss America, I think they travel around as a representative of America . Whether or not anybody actually pays attention to what they say or takes them seriously. I think other countries pay more attention to what our government says than a pageant winner. But I think these panels are posing such controversial questions as to weed out anyone with traditional or non-mainstream views so as to represent America in their own image.

There was another clip after the video ended. What impressed me was her consistency. IMO, many people who claim to support states rights would blast Vermont and California in the same breath.

Should've asked this question during the swimsuit competition...would've been better IMO.

Well, on the "what she said" aspect I agree with Danielan. Some of the people who claim to support states rights do blast Vermont and California, which is bullsh!t.

My view on states rights.... Come on, I am from Texas.... TEXAS you do the math. LMAO I'm fer it, and all that comes with it.

                EDIT..
PS. I still contend this is a PRIVATELY OWNED contest. If the world puts importance on the contest, thats on them, if the owners of the contest want it conservative or liberal is up to them.

Remember those rights everyone fights for? LOL It is privately owned, nothing is owed to the public.
                What would Rand say?

The question about gay marriage in one of the earlier pageants was pretty much a flat out loaded question also.

It is just great to see a bodacious babe not playing into the game.

Honestly, she sounds like she might actually know what she's talking about, not like the above previous Ms. South Carolina.

I'm for the state law in some sense. I'm in Florida though, if they passed that law here I think chaos and riots will break out. Especially since it would contradict the law put in place named "Wet Foot, Dry Foot" and is very well used (some might say abused) in this state.
