See Michelle call Barack a Kenyan

A video has been posted online in which Michelle Obama, at a 2007 fundraiser, describes her husband as "Kenyan."
The statement from the now-first lady adds weight to another video revealed earlier in which she describe Kenya as Barack Obama's "home country."
"Is Michelle Obama a Birther?" wrote a commentator at American Thinker. "The question has to be asked, now that a second YouTube video has surfaced in which Michelle Obama refers to her husband as a Kenyan.
    The video:

Documentation use to be very easy to forge. I remember buying a birth certificate and then going and getting a real state identification to buy liqour. One day I was pulled over
and the cop saw I had two ID's and grabbed both of them. They charged me with somekind of fraudulent id deal and I lost my real license for six months and paid a $300 dollar fine.
Just saying that anything could of been created years ago and it would constitute as real today. I am sure now they use more full proof methods on documents.

It seems to only foster the idea, as long as the White Houses refuses to show the birth certificate.

In Obama's defense, they have shown the birth certificate. The certificate of live birth, because that's what they've got. Is there ways for a non-citizen to get a COLB? Yes, but it's not a big enough stipulation to warrant some investigation into the thing. If this were Bush, the idea might fly, but at the end of the day even I, a fierce opponent of Obama, must admit that people like this guy. They don't want to see him fail, and even if it came out that he was literally here as an illegal alien they would just ask for the rules to be changed. So I really think the birther side should drop it, since there will never be any return on investment.

Plus the fact that his mom was American so, really even if he straight out fakes his birth cirtificate 40 years ago as part of a massive conspiracy, it's really just a technicality in the grand scope of things. Or perhaps the communists implanted him as a sleeper embryo in his mothers womb, who would spend his whole life normal and then one day he would get the phone call and someone would say โ€œThe ace of spadesโ€ and he will be activated and start taking over the country?

Lol, j/k but really the birther thing is never going to gain any grounds even if it were true and like I said, people like him so there would be popular demand to change the rules via a constitutional amendment. If we want to take Obama down, we need to focus on the crappy policies and swindles he is selling us. Itโ€™s like bush handed him his playbook and Obama just ran with it (Minus the constant terror alert levels right before election time).

Who f@#king cares where he was born. He's never lived in Kenya, but on no he did live in Jakarta under Suharto as a child, is this cause for concern? As a foreign-born American myself, it is all too clear how much time people are wasting on this, even if he was born in Africa. Like sgreger said, there is plenty more to focus on right now than the first few months of his life.

                I agree sgreger1.

Besides, given the speed of our legal system, we wouldn't get this worked out until after we are rid of him naturally anyway.

This whole issue should be taken care of pre-election and handled by the states individually as part of ballot registration.

Anyone who doesn't think that the powers that be didn't/haven't vetted the hell out of Obama is naive. I am sure there have been more people looking into Obama's past than any other U.S. President EVER.

Yah I agree. I mean it would be a HUGE scandal if he knowingly suppressed the fact that he wasn't eligible to be president, but in my mind, his mom was american, he lived his life in America, minus a short pilgramige to Indonesia etc, so he was raised here. I don't see how he is any less qualified as a person to govern than anyone else. He may be a pompous egotistical bastard, but a lot of people buy into him because they see him as a celebrity. I hate to say it but that's what America has come to, yet I cannot complain because that's how we do things here, and he won the election fair and square.

Everyone needs to focus on this: The deregulation of the banking industry under clinton was the preface to this collapse, Bush left it unchecked for 8 years, and it collapsed right before Obama came in. So Obama has no fault in the collapse, however he has not done anything to stop it from happening again, even his proposed wall street reform crap is just another feel good piece of legislation with no teeth. These companies blatantly stole from us in a casino style bet, using our money. AND HE HAS NOT STOPPED IT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. In fact no one has, the same crooks who did it last time are free to continue doing it again, and they almost surely will. We have been living in a bubble driven economy for nearly 100 years. So what I want to see is Obama make tough regulation against these financial entities that puts them back in their post-depression era shackles, which will ensure they cannot legally steal from us ever again.

F*ck a birth certificate, f*ck any of the other manufactured issues I see in the media every day, the real threat is that we have been tainted with the vile cancer that is corporatism, and not just corporations but banks. These banks are literally stealing from us in plain sight and no one is stopping it. I mean they steal from us, then they get the presidenty to bail THEM out? With OUR money? This all needs to end now. If Obama could pull that off, I would not care if he was a gay muslim commie to be honest, because our childrens future depends on this bubble nonesense getting hashed out ASAP.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head with that statement.

Well, the birther thing is not one of my interests, really. I believe he is an American. But I also believe he is holding back the release of the his long form birth certificate, which is not the same legal document as a Certificate of Live Birth. if he(they) would just release it, or say they don't have it, it would put an end to the birther speculation, so if anything, I wonder what the strategy is for keeping it secret.

Frankly I think the COLB is all they have, which is fine, as it is legally accepted as a birth certificate, though at that time someone could obtain one even if not actulaly born here. Even if he showed it, the birthers would just claim that it was fake. I mean he's the president, how hard would it be to print up a birth certificate for him? Our government has overthrown foreign leaders in clandestine operations, sent a man to the moon and used nuclear fission to destroy two cities in 2 days, I do not doubt they could just come up with a birth certificate if they wanted to. So even showing it wouldn't stop people from believing what they believe. Do I think he's not a citizen? Theres a huge possibility. But his mom is american, and he was raised here, so I don't see why he would be any less fit for the job than anyone else, imo.
