OVIEDO, Fla. -- The woman accused of  shooting and killing her estranged husband and then stabbing herself  told investigators the gun went off accidentally during sex, police  said.According to the arrest report, Anita Smithey told police  she and her husband had been separated for about three months, but still  met every week.Smithey appeared before a Seminole County judge  on Wednesday and was denied bond.Police said Smithey told them  her husband, Robert Cline, came to her Oviedo home Monday night and the  two drank tequila and had consensual sex before her husband accused her  of sleeping with another man.According to the arrest report,  Smithey said Cline then started being rough with her and the gun  accidentally went off, shooting him in the chest.The report said  Smithey told officers her husband did not move, so she pulled the  trigger two more times, getting him to roll off the bed.The  report also said Smithey then stabbed herself in the stomach to make the  shooting look like self-defense. Smithey is charged with  second-degree murder.
