So my entire company got kicked off of the job site today. Not really sure why just yet, but I gotta find a new job ASAP!

What line of work are you in? Did they fire everyone or are you a contractor and they just canceled the job? Major suckiness either way.

I'm a Primavera Scheduler/Planner. They terminated our contract. We were almost done anyway, and they owed us a lot of money, we asked for it, and they threw us out. We were contractors. Worked out for the better for me anyway, I've been after another job for almost a year and a half, (longer then the job I had) working for a company who coincidentally was in trailer right next to my old one. Called them up, take a drug test today, and start there Monday. More money, better insurance and longer term. Score!

Thanks. Found out why we got thrown out. My company managers went to a meeting with the owner. The owner asked how many people we had working in the motor room. They told them 40. They went out and did a head count. We had 8 people working, not 40. THey said they were tired of us lying and being unorganized. Stupid manager replied "well if you don't like how we do things, you can find somebody else." Well, that's what they did. This company was idiotic. I'm kinda glad I'll be working for someone who isn't a complete joke. Oh btw, had a LD White in during the drug test. Add that to the Weirdest places you've ever snused thread!
