    Unemployment.

This whole losing unemployment thing sucks.

Not for me, I have a job

But, I didn't realize how many of my customers were on unemployment. This has been the worst week I've seen in 2 years.

I hope the government realizes that they're hurting commerce with what they're doing.

Lol, outstanding. Sounds like the people from San Francisco where I live.

Once the money (their tax money ironically) runs out, and the handouts stop, they will go back to hating government. It's why free entitlement money never solves anything. But better than giving it to Citigroup I guess.

Honestly, there are jobs out there.

Maybe not high-class career oriented jobs, but jobs nonetheless.

I was unemployed for 2 months(laid off from a retail clothing store), got off my ass, put in 20-25 applications, searched, searched, searched, interviewed.

And voila! A Job!(as a waiter, not the greatest money, but its money)

People are just lazy, and need to learn that if you look hard enough, you will find something.

              Disgusting.

I'm sure this is NOT representative of the entire population (even that of the D) but I believe it is representative of a growing group of people now perhaps in the millions that think along these lines (even if in the subconscious). It scares me to think of the future.

I could go on and on and on about this but my views would probably evoke some hatred. I have a very hard stance on this and a staunch one at that. This has gotten my dander up and I want to rant soooooo badly...

I also think the maker of this video went for the easy target. It's sad that he had to make the racial thing clear as a bell. It would've made more of an impact had he not made that glaring.

                    I don't think so.

The problem is that the bankers and corporations want Americans to work menial jobs for slave wages, and they will ship the jobs that require an education over to India and China for 1/4 of the cost. Manufacturing is already gone.

They want to pay us just enough to get by, and tell ourselves to be thankful for it. Just like GhandiSnus pointed out. I guess we should all be happy digging ditches or bussing tables. Personally, I wouldn't be.

Your exactly right. We lose around 4% to inflation each year, yet the average salary doesn't adjust itself 4% per year. So after 20 years of this happening our money is worth less and less. In California making 90k for a couple who is under 25 is not a lot of money. 90k!

And they never fix the education system (I think on purpouse) so that we have lots of consumers but not enough skilled labor. Japan and India are graduating more scientists etc than we are. But it's all part of this "new economy". They shit the jobs over to india where it can be done cheaper, and then products can be bought it US dollars, so the dollar stays strong. Then china does the same thing and sells stuff sometimes not even at a real profit, just so that they can keep their currency low and buy up US dollars.

It's all the banks and countries together thinking about themselves and not their citizens. This country could be fixed in 10 years if you took a few simple steps:

*Make it very prohibitavely expensive to send jobs overseas

*Enforce the borders, but make it easier for citizens to LEGALLY
                      immegrate to our country.

                      *Set term limits for congress

*Start charging more for countries who want to sell their products here. It will make consumer goods more expensive for a period but then american companies will start manufacturing again, as they realize they could sell it cheaper than the chinese now.

The list goes on and on but really basic stuff.

This is what i've been saying. I hear that in parts of california around me there is 20%+ unemployment rate, especially near the farming areas in middle california. Yet everytime I goto taco bell or to a hundred other places it says they are hiring both starting positions, managers etc. I mean literally there are so many help wanted signs here I don't understand how some people don't have jobs. Then I talk to people and they say that they get paid the same from unemployment checks but don't have to work, so why work?

Can't say I blame them but still, this is what happens.

GREAT Pic... if you want to know the current state of Amerikka... that pretty much sums it up. A majority of Americans are just braindead zombies... victims of decades of psychological manipulation by the media and the physical poisoning of GMO food and vaccines.
