    Attention Chad!

Didnt know hwere I should post this to get youre attention, but I was just over posting some reviews, and I noticed the review section/threads seem to be getting out of hand. You made stickies for just about every brand and flavor there is, yet folks have created their own threads, so now we have 2-5 separate threads for some flavors. I thought there would be just one thread for each? Its getting to be a little confusing. I feel that the one thread (yours) for each flavor should be all thats allowed, and the rest deleted, it would make it sooo much easier to find a review that your looking for. There are also threads that arent even reviews, and just dont belong....

    Just an observation.....

I think usually admins can merge topics.

usually mods can merge topics but not on this forum. Chad, you might want to add something to your first post on each topic......lol, [just incase you don't have anything to do bud]. Just to let people know NOT to start another thread. Its your call if you want to delete them or not. God forbid if I delete anyones posts.

heres a thought. Maybe you can email ice and see when he will be updating the site and ask him if it will include giving us permissions to merge topics. If so then it can wait to merge the topics but I think its necessary that you post a few rules. think about it.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

        That's the hard part.

When we started the reviews thread, we Sticky'd what were called the "Official Reviews", so that each review people did they would put in there.

So, hopefully people will read this and try and keep reviews in those sticky'd threads.

The ones we copied over were the older ones that we already done, but wanted to have in the right area (by manufacturer), and couldn't merge them so they were left alone. But, true, it is a bit nuts. If we can merge topics and delete the old ones and prevent new topics, that would make it a bit easier. And more organized.

            FULLY agreed.

I vote to just delete all threads that werent started by you, and if anyone gets their little feelings hurt, well then too damn bad. The section was made with a purpose in mind, but by letting a few slide, well you know how it just cascades from there. And like PP said, throw a big, bold sticky at the beginning of the section that warns people that all unauthorized threads will be deleted.

            DELETE, DELETE, DELETE!!!

            8)

Holy crap. I didn't say that. but it is a good idea. problem is that some ppl get pissed then their "holy Grail" post goes missing. Can't blame them tho......cuz they blame me.

I think all of mine are under Chad's sticky's but if for some reason they are not, feel free to DELETE them w/o any issues from me.

I would not delete anything, but I would have opted not to "migrate" the other posts, and just kept them where they were originally.

This is OT, but it just happened, and it happens now and again. Do any of you get this:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: User snuson has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections in /var/www/html/db/mysql4.php on line 48

Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /var/www/html/db/mysql4.php on line 331

                        Happens to me constantly.

I also get an error telling me that there are the max number of members on the forum at least once a day.

I get that a lot actually. I just give it a few minutes, and it works again.

Wasn't sure if it was the site, or my work computer, as I don't recall it happening at home. But I'm here at work mostly.
