Only when you're in boot camp, for the most part. Otherwise you can use tobacco, although many bases are very strict about where and when you can use it. 30% of the military uses tobacco.

Yeah I didn't think it was unallowed in general. Wow 2 months of no tobacco whatsoever. And as if boot camp wasn't challenging enough. But... just think of the joy you will achieve in your first snus post boot camp. Hmm 30% is only slightly higher then the civilian populace as far as tobacco usage goes, I thought it would be alot higher. Stay strong mate.

You just can't use tobacco in basic training, (unless your crafty). We were able to smuggle some in but at an extremely high price, like 40$ for a can of skoal.


But after basic you'll be fine and you can smoke/snus all you want. I wish i had known about snus when I was in, would have made it much easier.
