Thanks for all the compliments about my band.

I've been writing music since the early 80's, and released a few self done cassettes back in the 90's, but I was always hampered by not being able to get a real band together, and bad recording quality. So I always just did it for myself more than anything.

Then my buddy knew this guy who played drums, who heard my then latest EP, and said he wanted to add drums to it, so I was like, sure, and well, while the material, IMO was the weakest I had done, the added real drums made it way better and half decent.

So then we embarked on making a proper album full length. It was recorded and written in spurts, with long times in between, and after I recorded 6 of the 10 songs, my drummer's cousin wanted to do the guitar, so I was good with that, as I'd do bass and vocals, and he did 4 of the 10 songs.

But while I think this last CD is the best thing I've heard since 1987, the new album is already better IMO. Unlike the 1st one, this one is production wise, more organized, as I have all the new songs fully written, and a demo CD recorded of them with me on guitar and vocal, so I can give that to the other members. 12 songs on the next one, which we plan to get recording I think in March, as my drummer has another band he is touring with called Seidr, and I think we are gonna record the next album at the guys studio who is the main guy that does Panopticon.

Hopefully the next one will be done before Nov 2010. But I don't wanna jump ahead, we just made this one Apocalyptic Dawn, and wanna get that out, and might try to play a few live shows. Oh, and in my liner notes I mention Swedish Snus.

I'm basically an old-school 80's-90's metalhead who got lost somewhere around 2002. There's not a whole lot that has come out since then that really moved me.

Some of the Scandinavian stuff is intriguing. I like Opeth now and then, and sometimes Dark Funeral. But I think my interest in that lies in the way it contrasts with Swedish culture more than anything else.

But from that time period, there's still a lot I enjoy. I've been over Metallica since 1996, but my day isn't complete until I've listened to one randomly chosen Iron Maiden album from start to finish.

I wouldn't consider myself a metalhead. I love various styles from bluegrass to metal itself. I love early Metallica, Pantera, some Megadeth, Killswitch and even some of the new Metalcore like Parkway Drive, Misery Signals and All That Remains. I'm on an Opeth kick right now, though. Just bought their latest album, Watershed. Opeth's is just astronomically dynamic imo. Their sound is like a mix between Death and Dream Theater and even that description does them no justice. Just listen to them if you haven't.

I just spent some time on youtube, searching for my favorite music (which is all over the map actually).

Now, one Immortal-video made me accidentally spit out a portion of Gotland Grön (no joke).

                So enjoy, but be cautious:

                Immortal: Stayin' Alive (LOL):

I used to be a death metal elitist. Until I was in my last year of highschool. Around that time the deathcore scene came and took everyone by storm, and myself along with it.

I remember going to see this band live and finding people my own age! Shows for "real" death metal bands are full of fat 30 year olds.
