It's amazing how taxes and prohibition can influence crime. I'm all for regulation, but when the social consequences outweigh the pros of it, then its time for a reassessment. Make consumer goods accessible and affordable and we'll all be happy. Give the people what they want, its a democracy, right? You say a tax on tobacco, I say a tax on happiness! You say prohibition, and I say prohibit none!
