So after doing alot of research I think I've planned a pretty good trip.

A week at the Nickeloden themed hotel in Orlando (my kid is a Dora FANATIC). It's a really cool hotel, and I can get her a Dora themed room, and they do the character breakfasts and all that....so that should be fun.

A day at the Disney wild animal park. Not doing the actual park itself, just this one - and taking a safari. She loves animals and can recognize zebras, giraffes, etc, so I think she'll enjoy this.

A day at Sea World. She likes dolphins, and whales, and can point them out, so I think this should be very fun for her.

A day at the beach....probably driving to Siesta Key or Canaveral, not sure yet. Trying to find the best "kid safe" beach close by that isn't going to have raging parties going on when we get there. I'm going in March or April, so I hope that should be to a minimum, and AVOIDING SPRING BREAK.

Still looking into other activities, but I think this will be the most fun for our daddy&daughter vacay.

Siesta Key is fantastic, I go there often. Please, for the love of God, do not go to Siesta Key anytime close to or during spring break. You are on the right track. The Siesta Key beach is still impossibly crowded most other days of the year, too, so don't plan on parking there unless you want to drive around and around for an hour, putting a damper on everything.

EDIT: Oh, and one more thing, if you're going to be near Siesta Key, check out Jungle Gardens in Sarasota. It's got lots of animals, and it's pretty neat for kids of any age. It's like walking through a real jungle.

Thanks for the info! I'm trying to fill a few more days with activities. Any others you can think of?
