And do you really not know why iot is offensive. That has been used as as such an ugly stereotype for hundreds and hundreds of years...the greedy jew. It is an ugly stereotype that is normally almost always used as a pejorative.

It all depends on how it's used, it can be taken as a compliment. Jews were prohibited from owning property so they became money lenders and pinching pennies meant they were good business people and they became successful because of it.

some people are overly sensitive, if you are a jew you can say what you want about "the jew in you". if not ok you made a racial (not racist) joke. Chris Rock cracks jokes about whites constantly and its all good and its completely acceptable. A few groups its just fine to make fun of yet others it is taboo. Stay cj. We are all adults here. I've been here since June 09. I've known for a while that cj is a jew, because it's not the first time he's made mention of it, so when I read his post I didn't find it offensive. Just reading/posting a lot you get a feel what certain people mean when they post. I didn't take offense when Chad started all of those meat threads, because I knew it was just for fun. (In "real" life, I fight back with the idiots around me on the subject) Even though VB and Serger have vastly different views, you can tell they have respect for each other. I feel like I know at least 80% of the posters here. Now if say someone like Tom starts cussing me out and calling me racial slurs I would be worried. :shock:
