Having a "blacklist" would be better. Unknowns are just that. The blacklist I think, would be very small.

A better list would be a sticky of "Dubious Traders". If your not on that list, you are either unknown, or good. But how many would there even be on it? 2? 3?

Actually, the list would be well placed on the intro post of the Exchange Thread.

I agree. The exchange needs the list. But most of my trades are just random pms. My first trade was with BrianC. He read me bi#$%ing about getting Dry Mini Mint as a free can, and offered two for one with it. I hooked him up with some Discreet as he never had it, and to make it more even. I never read any of his posts, but his join date was like sometime in 2008. I took a leap of faith and traded, no problems whatsoever. Anyway I ramble, still working on coffee, point is we never used the exchange, so I think the blacklist should be in another place as well.

It could be it's own sticky next to the exchange. A reference. I also think people should be allowed to be taken off of it, like require they send their stuff 1st, and when you have it, you send yours, and they can be on probabtion, or taken off it. Sometimes people just make a dumb act, but want to repent.

Very good idea. Joined dates sometimes don't mean anything though. Hell I've only been here since June, but a lot of people would trust me to trade. Mr. S joined in May I believe, and he duped us. I like the sticky idea and probation idea.

Of course to get on probation, they'd have to rectify their 1st offence.

This may sound weird and complex, but I belong to a few clubs that do something like this:

                          1. Set-up a Snus Exchange Guarantee Board.

                          2. You make a deposit to the Board (say $20) and they hold it in the event you screw someone.

                          3. The Board publishes a list as to how much you are guaranteed for.

With this method, at least you know you'll get a set amount back if someone screws you.

If something like this were done, SnusOn.com moderators would seem to be the natural people to run such a board.

If something were done like this, Chad could design a cool looking logo that can be put into your signature file that states you are "Snus Exchange Guaranteed"

No, I don't like that, it's too much to do. I think 99.9% all trades go fine. It's only the odd 1 or 2 that don't follow through, then they leave the board. The easy way would be to list the people that have done wrong. And maybe a list of people that are known to have done well. Unknowns could be expected to be prepared to, but it's up to the people doing it, to send their item first, and that would show they are sincere.

Too many stickies is a bad thing. I just suggest putting the bad traders at the top of the Exchange thread. That way it's in one place.

I say we just tar and feather whoever screws up, or castrate them and then nail them to an upside down cross, while they slowly bleed out from their genital regions.
