The last two did feel rushed. My favorite of the series was The Drawing Of The Three.

I dug those books, although I didn't finish the series and it's been a long time. Sucks to hear they get weaker rather than stronger.Originally posted by VeganpunkThe last two did feel rushed. My favorite of the series was The Drawing Of The Three.

I think I only read the first three. I've read most of King's library and I love 'em all. Welcome WeaponX. Love the name. By the way, if you need more General Wintergreen, I have an unopened can and I can't stand the stuff. PM me if you want to trade for something. Check out the snus exchange over in Stores and Online Shops. I'm sure a lot of us would want to get rid of all the extra Wintergreen that Getsnus.com keeps giving us.

Nah, your names are cool. It just struck me as neat that your names are simpatico and you turned out to be buds.Originally posted by sgmurdersgmurder and WeaponX... you guys sound dangerous.
That's good, we could probably use some more muscle around here. Welcome aboard!
Maybe I should change my username to 12Fluffycats

I think the books get weaker because Stephen King is the type of author that needs to get an idea out of his system immediately instead of drawing it out. So a big series was problematic for him.
However, you have to at least read up to and including Blaine. Blaine is a pain, but one hell of a train.

I *think* I dropped off right before that one. I just need to start over from book one.Originally posted by VBSnusI think the books get weaker because Stephen King is the type of author that needs to get an idea out of his system immediately instead of drawing it out. I really appreciate the trade idea, but to be honest I only buy enough to make it through a week or so at a time, i usually snus at work and it helps cope with the grabass. I think the equation is Grabass+Time at work x previous unresolved stress= amount of snus used, but i've never been good in math. But i'll let you know if i end up with an extra tin hanging around.Originally posted by MullolleyI think I only read the first three. I've read most of King's library and I love 'em all. Yeah its the type of series where its hard to pick up after a long stretch of not reading it, so at least King gives a quick summary at the beginings. And yeah he probably did need to get it out, i guess the longer you have an idea floating around the more diluted it becomes, it was a great journey while it lasted though.Originally posted by MojoQuestorI *think* I dropped off right before that one.
