They gotta be someplace. Not something you would just *lose*. My Dad had them the whole time I was growing up.

So where did you put them down?????

These things work like crap with my cell phone so I for ever taking them out when I get a call. The only place I ever sit them down is at work or home and we've torn both places apart.
This has been two weeks now. I kept hoping they would turn up. Even offered a reward for them at work.

I'm sorry to hear that(:^S) ddandb. I hope they turn up for you. That's a hell of a hit to take, and something you kind of need. Would medical or homeowners insurance pay for it?

              Not covered by homeowners.

              Oh well, worth a try.

Could you walk around with a radio transmitter(walkie talkie maybe), and cause them to feedback? Maybe someone with good hearing could hear them make noise.

There could be some upsides too. My Dad always used to take his out so he could completely tune my Mom out. He always refused to wear them at parties too, so he didn't have to deal with anyone he didn't want to.

You already probably took the lost hearing aid as a medical expense tax
deduction when you initially bought it . You want to take it off again ?
However the cost of the replacement should also be a medical expense for
tax purposes in the year acquired .
Just got a new set of hearing aids and manufacturer will provide
replacement for loss in the first two years after purchase .
                      Check your warranty .
I did date a deaf girl a few years ago that didn't use hearing aids. she was an expert at lip reading. If she didn't tell you she was deaf you would have never known it. I am not saying that's what you should do, it just amazed me what people are capable of.

Huh? What? What did you say??

Had them over three years so out of any kind of warranty or protection plan.

The feedback plan is something to think about but I don't know what I could do to make them do that. I never got any feedback from them no mater what I was around when wearing them.

So then I came up with this great idea. For the time being I could wear my old pair. My wife put them away when I got these 3 years ago. Now if she can only remember where she put them.
So technically now I guess I lost two pair.

I don't know. What do you think?
Could be a whole new look for me.
