Detroit's pretty cool. I could spend a lifetime doing urban exploration there. It's amazing how hard that place fell :^/

I explored the Michigan Central Station and Book Cadillac hotel about 10 years ago. The Book Cadillac has since been completely restored into a Hilton or something, but be sure to have a look at it. Good story with that one.

That guy was found frozen in ice, and he had been there quite awhile(a couple of months if I remember right).

Ah okay. It looked like asphalt so I wasn't sure what I was looking at.

Downtown memphis is loaded with abandoned buildings that can't get torn down because they're protected by the historic society. One of them is a huge tower (first skyscraper in the south) that has been empty since the 70's. The entire bottom floor has been boarded up and I'm pretty sure no one (who was supposed to) has been in there for at least ten years. They say the inside is comparable to old moorish castles in elegance. I've wanted to sneak in ever since I moved to Memphis.
There's also an old sears building that's been empty for years that people regularly break into and graffiti up, on any give weekend you'll find college kids tryin to live the "thug life" in that place.
