I used to love jazz, but not any genre recognised by purists, anything with a groove I used to drum to in bands. Swing or Big Band jazz is ok, but give me some funk from the 70s and then again acid jazz from the early 90s with a solid groove. I love the 'Brand New Heavies' and 'Incognito', and any classic soul/funk. Not for jazz purists though I would say :-)Last edited by Reynard; 17-12-13, 06:48 PM.

Random norwegian folk music on youtube. Just starting to learn the language and the music is very soothing.

I'm a huge fan of Morphine as well; and yep, Sandman did a bit of solo work outside of Morphine. That tune ''cocoon'' that I posted above is from the album ''Sandbox'' which is a collection of his solo works. It was a 2 disc set that came out about 5 years after his death. If you love Morphine, you won't want to pass up giving his solo work a listen.Originally posted by lxskllr View PostI like that Sandman tune. I'm a big fan of Morphine. I didn't know he had solo material also. Do you know what it's from?
Mark Sandman - Justine (One of my all time favorite solo works that Sandman made)
