Would you? Or quit forever using nicotine products. Interesting to see what people would do at that moment, if somebody decides to ban snus.
Snus banned, would you change to other nicotine product?

I would consider smuggling. If the government told me that I had to abandon my use of a safer tobacco product while still keeping other more harmful ones legally available, I'd smuggle it and use it illegally.
It's the same way I feel about pot. If the government wants to tell me that I can't smoke a joint while alcohol remains legal and widely consumed, that's fine. But I'm going to stick to my favored, less harmful vice regardless the legality.
Note: I do drink alcohol, but not as often as I smoke pot. Similarly with tobacco, I smoke cigarettes, but not nearly as often as I use snus.

But to stay true to the original question I think, what if you logged onto your preferred supplier and there was a notice that said: effective 1 July 2009 the manufacture and distribution of snus will be banned worldwide (yeah right, but for the sake of the question at hand) and all manufacturers will be required by law to cease and desist all snus production... Then what would you do?
I might take that as my cue to finally kick the nic habit. After dropping several hundred dollars on a year-long supply of course.

As for the question, I would most likely switch to American dip. I haven't tried it, but I'd sure like to give it a whirl for the hell of it and if I couldn't find snus, that's definitely where I'd go. Cigarettes would be the backbone, but they have never done me any good except the second or third time I smoked. Before and after that, didn't feel a thing. So...if dip sucked...I guess I'd have to suffer or do something illegal.

Honestly, I'm not sure what I'd do if snus was banned. I do know that if the government banned a product that is healthier for me to use than any other tobacco product that they had not banned....well, I'd be pissed.
