Agreed, great response Roo. And also, an ignore feature would be greatly appreciated. As Sage said, there are a few people in that thread that I would like to ignore from here on out. I am not going to leave this site, but that thread certainly had me tempted.

Outstanding post, Roo. And sage, how in the world would this forum get by without you and Xobe, PP, and a few others welcoming snubies and providing hilarity?

I had no idea so many of the Brits on this forum harbored such an intense dislike for Americans. Any time you would like to debate such views for retort, feel free to PM me. Better yet, I noticed one person was close to me in Germany. Let me know if you would like to discuss your issues with the US in person. I would gladly come to you.

I'm not going anywhere, and as I told someone privately today, I just ignore the stupid threads so I don't get my blood pressure up.

But I am sure there is at least one or two here who would probably love to ignore my posts. Their loss I think, but I do like venues that give folks that choice if at all possible.

But I am hooked here, even when a few people post stuff that really does offend me. I'll live.

......my wife says not to encourage me.

as a side note, with all the joking and fooling around I do on this site. I sometimes wonder if some members would rather I not post some of that crap. So it is nice to hear I keep things kind of lite-hearted around here. However, I'm sure not everyone agrees tho. When I first joined I PMed Zero and asked him to let me know if I get out of hand so I can tone it down. Suprizeingly his only comment was "Its not a crime to be silly". I thought his comment was kind of funny myself. But I do try to hold back sometimes. Then, most of the time, I just can't help myself. If anyone has a problem with my posts you are certainly welcome to pm me with your concerns. So far I really like everyone here except one person that presented himself as very arrogant and lied like hell when he first became a member. We haven't heard from him in a while but if he ever comes back he will get a second chance in my book. BTW, this person got EVERYONE pissed off. I just can't hold a grudge unless I'm peeing.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Zero was right PP. Don't ever forget, and please don't ever change. A good forum always needs someone like you around to keep us all honest.

Sage is not the only one PP! Your posts are consistently and appropriately hilarious at times, and delightfully inappropriately hilarious at others. Either way, you are always ****ing hilarious and so much appreciated. Even the Hitler comment was funny. Too bad someone took it the wrong way and actually tried to wax idiotically on the ****er's "attributes". I am in no position to say so in terms of seniority, but your comments are not only welcome here, they are essential.

I've liked your stuff from the beginning, PP, even if you are a total perv and scare our girls away.

To reinforce the opinions of the masses, from a newbie, keep it up PP. Your Hitler comment was taken for what it was, SARCASM, and it was funny.

Another forum I'm on, we put the star emoticon after statements of sarcasm that could be mis-interpretated. A * could suffice here. Just a thought. May seems unnecessary, but unfortunately sarcasm can be mis-read on the interwebz, and it could avoid some unnecessary confusion and confrontation in the future.

                            You all suck dicks*

It also confuses new users and is kinda fun for that purpose.

I hope you would agree that each and every corner of this globe has its fair share of those to whom you are referring.
Sure! No question about that. But U.S.-Americans are ruining this forum, not some old nazis, no islamic extremists and no totally uneducated "goatherds" from some backwoods-part of the world.

                              I second Sagedil's idea for an ignore-button.

                              Cheers!

Are you saying that Americans on this board are ruining the entire SnusOn community or just the 'People & World' section? Maybe I'm wrong, but I see more Americans joining interested in snus than any other country so far. I see that as a good thing for the forum as a whole since it brings fresh blood in and spreads the word about snus to a fairly new market. I think this site gives plenty of good information to everybody and provides a good atmosphere with friendly folks willing to help out.

If you mean this particular part of the forum, then maybe, maybe not. American's are definitely ethnocentric, though I can easily say that about plenty of other nations as well. Saying that the European members are better educated in politics and whatever else can easily be seen as Eurocentric. I don't really think any nationality here is any more or less educated, ignorant, or arrogant as the other.
