I can't keep taking part in a forum that attracts so many racist, bigoted neo-nazi sympathizers. For reference, please see the "what can fix americas problems" thread. I don't see why there's only two or three of us speaking out against that shit, but for me, it's over. The fact that a moderator would let some shit like that keep going, unchecked, tells me a lot about the way this forum operates (hint hint).

I wasn't in that thread beyond the first 2 posts, as I didn't see it going anywhere. It went downhill pretty quickly, but I can't say I want to see it deleted. I like my forum moderation the same way I like my government; completely out of my life ;^) Protect the site against DDOS attacks, but otherwise hands off.

I think the comments should stand for future reference. I stand behind everything I've said online, since I've been online. If anyone cares to do the research, all the clues are in this forum. Hopefully everybody else is as sure of their conduct, and speech ;^)

Btw, don't leave pissed off superdevil. You do what you feel is right, but don't sweat the petty shit :^)

Please read further into that thread lxskllr, specifically the last two pages. It gets pretty ugly. There is some serious Jew bashing, and holocaust denial. Kinda disturbing if you ask me.

I read it all after reading this thread, and I still think it should stand. I don't like changing history, even if it's something as insignificant as a web forum. That's why I almost always explicitly mark my edits, and give the reason for editing. History has been changed, and I want to keep everything above board.

On another forum I frequent, a member has this as their signature(might be a paraphrase, I'm not sure I remember exactly) "Every post is a self portrait of the person who made it". I like that, and for that reason I believe that all posts should stand as they are, or edited by the person who wrote it :hint: :^)

I simply think the thread should be closed, not deleted. Those type of comments have no place anywhere, and the thread is obviously going nowhere, but towards a path of hate, denial of history, and idiocy. Don't delete it, but close it, that's all. It's strayed far off topic anyway, and the origin of that is the thread starter.

Wow. I found this place in September of 2007. I never thought I'd see an exchange such as that on this board. The rate at which that thread deteriorated from serious discussion into petty quibbling into an all out word war was pretty amazing.

That being said, I'm not leaving. I'm just going to stick to my personal rule of staying out of most of the political threads. Occasionally something political will enrage me to the point of posting something, but for the most part I prefer to keep my snus and my politics separate.

WOW, I just looked at the first post in this thread and then went to the tread in question. I had not been to that thread since my first post there. Yes it went way off topic and downhill pretty fast. IMO, There is alot of stuff there that shouldn't have ever been posted. My first post there is included, but I was being REALLY sarcastic. Sorry if anyone misunderstood.


Now, while I'm responding to THAT thread, I see all these new posts on this thread that were posted while I was posting on the other thread. Honestly I don't remember who said what over there but I do see the conflict. Justly so. IT seems our mods here like to let threads work themselves out. And they usually do. So I would say let it go, it will chill out eventually.

Anyway, I don't like to see anyone leave SnusOn for any reason. Lets be adults here and try to remain light-hearted. [I try to do my best in the light-heartening area]

Yes, don't leave because of the statements of a few. Usually those who are just looking for a reaction will get bored and leave if you ignore them.

If you are in disagreement with the moderation here, I can understand that, but I like the level of moderation here. IMHO less is more...
