I go to art school right now. My major is photography.

Currently unemployed. When I'm not at school, I sit in my apartment and write short stories and poems and songs and things of that sort. Writing and music are my two passions. I read a lot.

I also record and play music under the moniker Soft Morning, City!

    That's about it.

Well all I DO at the moment is dick around on the computer doing nothing relatively constructive at all, and sometimes homework.
I'm just a student of who-knows-what...computer science at the moment. Just starting college at the age of 25 after having done 6 years in the air force as a ground radar maintenance technician.
currently jobless. probably will start working at the fedex sort facility doing entry-level grunt bullshit as a 'package handler' to make ends meet.
no girlfriend, nobody to hang out with.
    good times.

    Professional Bio

I'm a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). I'm a partner in a national public accounting firm. I've been practicing for 25 years now. I've got a BS in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Michigan, an MBA with a concentration in International Finance from Northwestern University and, of course, my license to practice as a CPA.

As of right now,I'm done with formal education (except for my "Continuing Education" required by my profession to maintain my license).

Good luck to all of you students out here. It seems there are quite a few of you all with unique and diverse backgrounds.

    Jeff

^ What are you studying dude? BEC stuff, weird ultracold optics, STM? Are you staying in Darmstadt for the Masters? The University has a beautiful guesthouse in Hirschegg which can hold about 30 people - if you can find any excuse to host a conference there, it's highly recommended 8)

I have just finished my Bachelor in physics and will go on to my Master in about a month. I did my Bachelor thesis in a workgroup that has to do with ultra-cold atoms and quantum physics, if this interests anybody

    What do you do?

Hi - I'm retired now, coming from an organization that has a civilized retirement policy. We have an "80" formula in which a combination of age and years of service will allow you to retire. For example, I had 30 years service and 52 years of age, so put them together and you get 82, enough to trigger the 80 formula.

I worked for a labour union as a computer systems manager. Before computers came around, I worked 12 years as a collective bargaining - economics researcher and then switched to a just-starting Technology Office.

Formerly: management consultant, armed with an MBA, a laptop, and a semi-hidden smoking habit.

Currently: stay-at-home mom heavily involved in local politics in a small town, still using the laptop and now using snus in lieu of cigarettes.

^ Good stuff, dude. Have you ever heard of a book called "The Fallacy of Mother's Wisdom"? It's by Michael Myslobodsky - if you're into health psychology, it's a great read.
