    Buck Knives returns to USA manufacturing

    Those who know me are aware of my knife&tool obsession....I just thought it was interesting that Buck Knives, the classic American knife company has finally returned to producing inexpensive, yet good quality knives here in the US, as opposed to China or Taiwan. I check knifecenter weekly for new products and found that buck is returning [at least partially] to American manufacturing:

      Sweet! I bought a Buck lock blade with my first paycheck almost 20 years ago. I still have it, and I just sharpened it the other day on my new Edge Pro...

          I really like my Kershaw Vapor. It was cheap, like 18 bucks, plenty sharp, and no spring assist, so it doesn't break on me. My only complaint is that the Kershaw blade is so hard that it's tough to hone a good edge onto it that will hold. But with the amount of work I've been doing lately, I've had plenty of quality time with the whetstone...
