Quemador, look it up in a Spanish translator, it corresponds with my last name (there is a reason Spanish was chosen as well).

The Black Crowes are my favorite band, and Amorica is my favorite album of theirs. Hence, Amorican.

I read Douglas Adams' Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy back in the early 90s .. loved it .. I got online for the first time in 1993/1994 .. I found that one needs a "handle" as it was called .. With the book in fresh memory I picked Slartibartfast because I liked the character and he resembles me in many ways. Back then 8 characters were the absolute limit for IRC handles/nicks so I had to shorten it .. That's how slartie came about.
