camel "mellow"

I found some today. Just as sweet as Original. A bit better flavor. Similar taste profile. I found it nothing like Swedish snus.No salt taste, plenty of sweet. Portions bags are LOOOONG and skinny. If you didn't like Original you won't like mellow.

Even though the Original flavor was the most endurable, I don't want anything that tastes similar to it. Thanks for letting me know! You saved me about four dollars!

First off let me say this is my first post
Second off, I am an ex smoker, sometime dipper and snusser and forever snuffer
Thirdly I probably know some of you from snuffhouse
I don't know how to say fourth-ly, fourthly
Whatever, It is what it is
So let me begin, Glad to be here, I have lurked in the past but never got into snus a lot. But as of late I have been enjoying it more and more.
So back on topic.... I have had a lot of camel snus. Maybe not a lot in your standards. But a lot of it has been free camel snus. To which up to this this day I thought it was o.k. @ least the spice and to a lesser degree the original then I ran out of my Roda lacket portions today and decided since I had two free coupons that where going to expire I would go get a couple spice's. Next thing I know spice and original are discontinued.. No problem. but i can' stand frost it is an abomination of snus. So I get some mellow.... I am sorry but it is a worse abomination.

Under no circumstance should anybody have to suck on this sh*t.. So that's my story and I am sticking to it..

Haha! Welcome Bigblue! Seems like people are going back and forth between from Snuson, snuscentral & snuffhouse.

Anyway, I haven't tried any other snus except the real thing, but from what I'm hearing, I don't wanna either!

I'm waiting for the Camel snus, myself....That's how I found out about the real stuff, and I haven't even been able to get any yet! I don't think I will be all that impressed, but it will be nice to have another alternative when I start to get low.

My thoughts exactly, except for using it as a last resort. I first heard about snus from an online news article about Camel Snus, and then found a Yahoo Answers page where someone was asking where to find it. One of the posters answered that they go to buysnus.com and order the Swedish stuff if they did not live in Portland or Austin. I just followed up on that, and here I am.

I actually would be interested in trying the Camel stuff once or twice, but I would not use it as a back-up. Unlike the Swedish snus, or course the Camel and other brands here don't have to put what is in it. I would not trust the American cigarette companies to only add salt, water and flavoring. I mean, they only add tobacco to the cigarettes, right? Right? :shock:

I usually only buy the camel snus with the buy 1, get on free cards that come in the mail every now and then.

Tried the mellow last night.
The fist thing that came to mind was "Sweet Pipe Tobacco" after the first wiff of the tin. The taste was actually very similar to me.
I do agree it has a similar smoke flavoring of Lucky Strike Snus but definately much more sweeter. There is a slight resemblance to those Stonewall Pellets and I am guessing those new orbs and sticks will taste like this snus.
