7.62 x.39 is for a 308. I just call it 308 ammo so I don't have to remember the other numbers. 8)

A important correction. 7.62x39 isn't even close to a .308. that would be 7.62x51. 7.62x39 uses a .311 bullet. Would hate for anyone to hurt thamselves.

I have heard mixed things about both, so I'm working on getting togeather with two local shooters so I can try them both on for size. I was getting the feel of a p-3at yesterday and that thing feels like a toy be cause it's so small and light. It's thinner than a snus can!
