My stuff has been greased, packed and put away 7 years ago. I'll take them out for a cleaning tomorrow and take some pictures. My wife doesn't like that stuff at all, even my knives, but I am working on her slowly but surely.
Lets see your toys!

I just run with a tipman 98 custom
my iron sight mini-14, the only mod to is is about $1 worth of tape on her butt so my cheek sits properly, on iron sights I hit around 145 yards very accurately past about 160 yards I allways get hyped up.
When I was in the Air Force using a crappy M-16 I shot with 95% accuracy and 2 misfires... yes, my perfect 100% was ruined by bad ammo and a crappy old M-16 that god only knows how well it had been maintained.
I wish I had the ability to keep my heart from racing, I've tried breathing techniques but only saw a marginal increase in accuracy. It's more of a hobby for me, I don't shoot that often.

Nice set-up dude. And the armilite is a great weapon too. I almost bought one after I sold my Norinco 308 [the barrels are too soft and under massive use will warp, so I'm told]. I just sold 3000 rounds of the 308 ammo to my doctor 2 weeks ago. So I don't plan on gettting another 308. I have enough arms as it is. Getting older and moving I just don't feel the need to accuire more with what I already have. I was going to sell some more rifles but with the run on arms lately I think I'll wait, might just need to keep all of them. Keep em clean.
Too bad you can't paint it.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Thanks guys, nothing like the arsenal you guys have. PP I didn't even know Norinco made a 308 (nato round?) mine is 7.62X39.
I have heard different stories about Norincos with stamped receiver not being very reliable but the ones with milled receiver are pretty solid. I've had mine since 1999 and it's been nib since then, never fired it.
Here is an almost 100 year old Spanish Alkar 6.35 caliber given to me by Grandpa before his passing 10 years ago. It is about 4.5" long. He also gave me a colt 1893 which I can't find at the moment. This one needs a good cleaning:

7.62 x.39 is for a 308. I just call it 308 ammo so I don't have to remember the other numbers. 8)Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

7.62mm = 50,000 psi pressure
.308 = 62,000 psi pressure

I thought it was the same. Wow they are freaking close tho. All I told my Doctor that bought all mine was that it was for a 308 and I gave him a box of shells to check out. He is REALLY a gun/survival nut so I know he knows exactly what he got, and thats what he wanted. He jumped on the deal of 3000 rounds and I made a few bucks xtra.
Now this may be why the Norincos have a bad rap, barrel or chamber wise. Maybe too many people were useing the more powerfull rounds and heating up the barrels or whatever. I was told the Norinco had to be heat treated [anneiled?] to hold up to rapid fireing. Whatever, I don't know that much. When I learned that info I simply sold the rifle. It was brand new and had never been shot. I sold it to my gun dealer and made several hundred $ over what I paid for it. So all is well.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
