Base your life on things worked out from the first principles and make your own judgement calls instead of relying on worn out old labels (muslim, liberal, stupid, etc...) Good and bad are not that hard really - just think. If you can not get swept up in whatever happens and still retain that thinking head then you are winning any war that is going on.

Whalen that quote by Frosted is completely how I feel ... sod the lot of the book-hugging hypnotised wankers .. their belief in magic and fairy-tales, backed up by the establishment is why humankind is at such a low ebb. We need to have a collective epiphany that this religious bullshit is just that ... a load of rubbish from way back in time that was only ever designed to control the population by fear. We have a very good scientific understanding of the world now ... there is absolutely no need of this mediaeval mumbo-jumbo these days!

Religion in my eyes is basically all evil because it is lies. It lies about an afterlife, it lies about creation, it lies about many ways about how you should live your life. Lying is bad ... that's what I was taught when I was little ... and it seems as if it has stood the test of time as a way to live your life. You should not ever tell a lie.

I think of it this way. The Bush administration decided to invade Iraq , for a second time . I suppose ideologically the Bush administration was neo conservative Christian
they adopted christian rhetoric when it suited them , the mythology and ideology is always there in the background with them . I suppose to a Muslim living in Iraq now , who may have lost family , or may have been severely injured as a result of the war , to them these 'Christians' are the real nutters , over 1 million civilians dead ... i don't think there is anything special about Islam in so far as breeding nutcases ; it's just the christian nutcases are have the appearance of being more domesticated , they hide behind positions of office and wear suits and have a powerful media to perpetuate the ideology they peddle for them
