You should checkout MSNBC, or Fox news ;^)

Just got back from Walmart and got my eyes checked, and two new pair of glasses; one of them sun to replace the ones I just lost. I'm now $368 poorer, and that was *after* the discount. That was more than I was expecting. Oh well, I hope they work out. I'm trying a different type of sunglass. They stick close to the face, and wrap around a bit. Never had that kind before, but they feel like they'll hold on better, and hopefully block out more of that bad ol' sol.

The wasps we have are larger and have a "droopy" appearance in flight. Here is a red wasp:

I get it now. We don't get those dangly rear arsed things. Just zillions of what you call yellow jackets which we call just wasps.

I've been swarmed by both - wasps and yellow jackets. Trust me, wasp stings hurt a hell of alot more then yellow jackets.

Good idea! I use this stuff (shoots a stream 15 feet), but I've never tried holding a Bic lighter in front of it. Might make a great flamethrower. Maybe not on the eaves.

Just look at them! Only evil in their eyes! Pure hatred and resentment in their bodies!

Wasps are the meth addict cousins of bees!! They just fly around all day smoking meth and pissing people off, then smoke weed in the evenings!

bees are cool, wasps are not!

I disagree! The worst sting comes from a wasp.

Bees don't worry me too much...don't know what kind you've got over there though. I like bees because they play fair. Hornets on the other hand terrify me and I wouldn't be anywhere near a nest. They have lookout guards at the nest to signal danger to the rest of the nest....then it's a whole world of pain if not death. I've heard of yellow jackets and they sound nasty too. Luckily we don't get them here...just the standard annoying European wasp that won't just p*as off when you're outside in September.
