Health insurance cancellation notices soar above Obamacare enrollment rates (NJ - 800,000)
Nearly 800,000 New Jersey residents’ health-care plans will not longer exist in 2014, forcing insurers to create new ones for individuals and small business owners that hew to the Obamacare’s new regulations, The New Jersey Star Ledger found in early October.
“I don’t feel like I need to change, but I have to,” Jeff Learned, a television editor in Los Angeles, told Kaiser Health News. Learned now needs to scramble to find a plan to coverage his teenage daughter, whose health problems have required several surgeries.
More Americans have lost their individual health coverage in Florida and California than have gotten past the login screen on HealthCare.gov, according to The Washington Post, which reports that 476,000 applications have “been started,” but not completed. HealthCare.gov’s dysfunctional website has helped enrollment grind to almost a complete halt. (RELATED: HealthCare.gov contractor: We had only two weeks to test site)

Most Americans I believe would be very open to a Socialized system similar to France but this is not what this is. This is basically the same overpriced corporate system and making everybody a part of it at different levels of "affordable care".
I went to my states exchange and for my family a $385 dollar monthly premium with a $11,000 dollar deductible if somebody needs serious treatment.
or around $735 a month with a $1200 dollar deductible.
Within a few years that number will probably be hitting a $1000 dollars a month with a $3-4000 deductible!

You pay as go either way and bet that you will be well using the high deductible or bet that you will need more care with the lower deductible.

Many boomers will however leave to get surgical care elsewhere for a fraction of the cost unless things change here.

ok.....America is not the industrial nation it once was, China, Mexico and a very few other countries rule industry now. For America to survive in this new world order and care for the millions of baby boomers that now are getting older and have more health problems America needs to become a health care based society. Although I generally disagree with Obama and most of his practices, attitude and just about everything else I think that all these americans that are out of work may find jobs in some sector of healthcare. This is simply the beginning. The problem I see is that almost all of our healthcare commerce will stay here with little to be exported. This will isolate this country from the rest of the world for the most part. However, with that being said I believe that its possible that in some distant future America can trade with other countries as long as we can get our educational system back in order to have young minds find cures, develope medicines and medical devices that are needed thru out the world. A lot more can be said about this but I'm very tired atm and can't keep a straight thought.

Let it be known that I don't like Obama and I've met the man at a neighbors pig roast about 2 years before he was elected. All the women at the outing were focused at him because of his speaking ability and he was the only black man that attended it and the women found him attractive. I wasn't too impressed because he was showing his arrogance. A few days later I spoke with my neighbor and asked him who the hell that guy was. He said that black man is going to be our next president. It was then I found out my neighbor was in the process of grooming and preparing Obama to be at least somewhat qualified to be president. Obama had the Chicago democratic political machine behind him and that's a powerful force to deal with and for the republicans to run against. While Obama had no experience he had the right people grooming and backing him. The republicans had an experienced candidate but the general population could not identify with the republican cannidate and the broad that ran with him for vice president. [I'm so tired I can't even think of either ones name, duh]. Anyway , imo Obama won the election by default. Sucks.
My neighbor passed away right before the election. I loved that guy as he was a great friend but I often wonder if he is rolling in his grave at what Obama is doing to the country....and may ultimately do to the world. I also wonder if he would actually agree with what Obama is doing now that he is in power and if this was his intention. I know Obama is simply a puppet and I can't believe my neighbor would have anything to do with ruining America. So I sit here in wonder....what will become of this? I can see the good and the bad but we will all have to wait and see.
Shit.....sorry if this post doesn't make much sense. Maybe I can explain better in the morning....maybe not. So I will pass out and leave you all to ponder and sort my statements out with these 2 simple words ........

We are a free country. You are perfectly free to die from a simple medical condition if you don't have any cash.

The Universal Healthcare package as viewed by doctors..............
"The American Medical Association has weighed in on the new Universal Healthcare package. The Allergists voted to scratch it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves. The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought the Administration... had a lot of nerve. The Obstetricians felt they were all laboring under a misconception. Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted. Pathologists yelled, "Over my dead body!" while the Pediatricians said, 'Oh, Grow up!'
The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it. Surgeons decided to wash their hands of the whole thing. The Internists thought it was a bitter pill to swallow, and the Plastic Surgeons said, "This puts a whole new face on the matter."
The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed off at the whole idea. The Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas, and the Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no. In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the assholes in Washington."
