A man is only a man once he is forced to question all the forces that made him the man that he is.

The truth that you seek is understanding a fine line between respecting the doctrines you have been brought up with, knowing the motives of those who have taught you and knowing what is right and what is wrong.

A real man comes to his own conclusions ... educating himself along the way as he needs it because that's the true redneck way.

Truly thinking about things and accepting gaps in our knowledge is all that I am asking for here ... seriously.

From your eloquent, considered argument I can now see that everything that Obama is doing is as dangerous as anything that was perpetrated by Hitler during the 3rd Reich. And also that everyone apart from a small minority will look back on this dark period of history you are living in with just as much shame as post-war Germans do towards Hitler because your president is trying to set up a social security program.

How could I have got it so wrong?

I believe you have misinterpreted the point I was trying to get across. No I am not saying forcing people to have health insurance is the same as mass genocide. The desired outcome on both ends is the same though. Absolute and total power. To consider people who think freely as an enemy. To nourish those that depend on the government. And this isn't just about healthcare its about how the entire administration has been run. I figured the extra money taken out of my paycheck starting in January or so this year was going to reduce or debt...it has only risen. This increase in tax forced several employers to have layoffs and then in turn took more money away from the people and all it did was kept that however many trillion dollar from rising quicker. This is JUST after we were coming out of a recession with the highest unemployment rate since 81. The sad thing is "the people" elected this man TWICE on a pile of lies he never followed through on. If he could he would attempt to be king of the U.S and get a lifetime appointment and remain unsatisfied until every household earned 20k a year and received 20k in benefits that could be cut off at any time.

Squeezy you're a cool dude. I certainly didn't mean to upset you or to sound as if I was insulting you. But the American way of life is constantly becoming something of the past under this man and I really don't think it's something you can grasp unless you are here, growing up in the school system that always taught you the hard worker made the money and those who never tried never achieve financial success. Capitalism and Democracy was something we always prided ourselves on. Now it seems like I can only be proud that I am not standing in line to get my ration of blue jeans, beets, and toilet paper.

Florida Blue Cancels 300,000 Individual Insurance Policies Because of Obamacare
    Jacksonville Business Journal ^

Florida Blue is cutting 300,000 individual insurance policies because they don’t measure up to the guidelines set forth by the Affordable Care Act, Kaiser Health News reports.
The cuts represent about 80 percent of Florida Blue’s individual insurance business, according to KHN. Affected policyholders are being notified via mail, Florida Blue spokesman Mark Wright told WUSF, with recommendations for new plan options available on the health exchange, an online marketplace through which consumers can purchase subsidized insurance.
Florida Blue is the only insurer to offer plans on the exchange in all 67 of Florida’s counties.
Wright did not immediately return a phone call or email seeking comment. He told WUSF that it was impossible to gauge a price difference between the canceled plans and the ones available on the exchange.

I have a feeling there are huge differences from one state to another. If you are low income in California they offer you MediCal which is often free or with a low share of cost. I am willing to bet that insurance overall is much more expensive here compared to a lot of other States especially if you have a pres existing condition or want a plan with a low deductible.

While I do think Obamacare will blow up in our faces in a big way........ I don't see the parallel between nanny government and genocide. Bad politics are in a whole other ballpark from peddling death.

This explains the Red Cheka. It will start with it's for the children but will end rounding up everyone into the system. Anything and everything will be observed and documented.

Attempting to help people ... no matter how flawed the method ... is a very different thing to ethnic cleansing and trying to take over the world.
Ethnic cleansing is what hitler thought would help the people. It was time for them to "take back Deutschland, und schlagen dem Jews." Look at it however you want, all Obama is trying to do is make people dependent on Government. Hell he has a good start, 50% of americans receive some kind of public assistance benefit. What is to stop me from getting some form of welfare? I certainly would qualify with my income because i work part time, and am a full time student. Hell i could probably get Obama to make my car payment every month if i asked. But I don't need it, I am getting by fine and I understand that every dollar i get from the government is another dollar out of another persons pocket. It would be a lot easier for me to just get by on my own than to depend on others.
