    Smokers Rights.....Once upon a time

This one is good to the last puff.....

    New and improved smokers rights....

    check out Mortons as tray.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

From Wikipedia - In 1996, Downey was diagnosed with lung cancer and had one of his lungs removed. He did a complete about-face on the issue of tobacco use, going from a one-time member of the National Smokers Alliance to a staunch anti-smoking activist.[39] He continued to speak against smoking until his death from lung cancer in 2001.[40]

Funny part is when I smoked I did not see what all the fuss was about from non-smokers. They complained it stunk, that it is unattractive and so on.

Once I quit years back and got my sense of smell back I see what all the fuss was about. Cigarette smokers stink to high hell, and bars that are full of the smoke stink and give me headaches now. My friends cars that they smoke in smell like a wet ashtray. It really is disgusting.

With that said, I have no problems with people who choose to smoke. I think they deserve to enjoy their habit if they so choose. I do not think smoking outside should be controlled and I think restaurants and bars that have sections separated are fine by me. I think all this pushing smokers into the closet is garbage and I think smokers should have rights.

            Nice response Grim.

I've never even been a smoker and some things just seem ridiculous. The giant quad on my campus is now no smoking.....for those who have 3 classes straight...they are screwed because all buildings are in the same location except for very specialized places. Seem a bit discriminative to smokers deciding the entire area they occupy for up to 9 hours a day is smoke free.

Not sure about his 5 packs a day habit but probably at least 3 for many years.

I still think 2 packs a day is heavy smoking and I usually only did that on party nights.
