I remember the last lot of prescription strength codeine I had from the doctor for pain, 60mg I think. Anyhow, didn't take the pain off but I felt so spaced out I forgot about it in the end :-)Comment

They offered me morphine IV last week in hospital, I declined so they gave me dihydrocodeine and lorazepam. I was in the clouds lol.Comment

Other than that I use codeine or dihydra (one) when I have a cough to suppress it, I have a strangely high tolerance of narcotics, no idea why as I have never used them to get off my face or in any quantities other than for pain relief (the two with wine is a joke for the record), never used the illegal ones. I have to take 3 dihydras to get any kind of pain relief, happens with my knee maybe once a year, other than that I don't take anything. Tramadol on the other hand, ooooh child!!! That'll fook you up in no time!

U.S. Doc's tend to favor Dilaudid (Hydromorphone Hydrochloride) over Morphine. I've had IV Dilaudid and don't like it... I prefer Percocet.If you have any problems with my posts or signature
