Yah we've proudly done away with most of those archaic rules from back when civilization first began, things like slavery, animal worship, forced prayer to the sun gods, suppressing homosexuality etc. And homosexuality was extremely prevalent back near "when civilization began" and for thousands of years following it. Homosexual acts between two men were culturally acceptable for much of human history in many places, but you are correct in that they couldn't marry, they had to take a wife and bear a child even if they were gay. But hey, you gotta change the rules up every 10,000 years or so, amirite?

Meh ... As much as i hate saying it and feeling it, the World is broken as it is. And its us Humans that spoil it. I can say that i've never felt so bad about the global situation atm... All i see is a rising number of snob rich men, and a rising number(times 1000) of people in need, even on those so called "industrialized countries". All in all, the corrupts / apes that govern us are the ones that make and control the game, like it or not they do all sorts of crap under the table and no one but the voters can do something about it.
But we end up doing the same mistakes over and over again as we see the same old people/parties f*cking with us year after year. Capitalism is flatout crap, and democracy is not working as it should. It gives power to the people between chosing a party that screws with its people or.. a party that screws with its people. (All of em just looking to fill up their bank accounts and what not. Surprise?)
About homosexual people. As it has been said here, its not as if they can choose what they like or not... I don't judge them, have some friends like that myself. But i gotta be honest and say that queers bother me less than gays because at least i know who they are! But seriously, everyone is who they are and you just have to respect it.
The only thing that i refuse to agree are people coming into our contries and not wanting to fit into the society nor respect the countries culture/traditions. (thus, leading to an increased level of insecurity and criminality in many of those cases)

you have to draw the line somewhere....its not about hate...its about the line. If its ok for a man to marry a man or woman to marry a woman...then why not allow you to marry an animal. hey...if it doesnt pull away it must enjoy it so that makes it ok right? Or why not brothers and sisters? They love each other so why not let them marry....or first cousins....or what if i want to marry my hand. Its all about how much of society you want to end up on the jerry springer show. There are lines in the sand drawn and when its crossed its kind of hypocritical to say it should be stopped for one small group of people who are not "normal"

You need help. You really think that same sex love is the same thing as interspecies sex? Wow, you need help. And incest has proven to cause abnormal children, which is not fair to the children born under incest, so there is a valid reason for incest being wrong. Why is it, that you feel the only natural marriage is man and woman? Who made this the defining rule? Why is man/man or woman/woman marriage any different than man/woman? Again, because the bible (which MAN created) says so? Where does your definition of whats normal and not come from? If you say god, then we know your rules of normalcy are taken from myths. Why is your definition of whats normal the correct one? Can't use religion or god in this subject because myths do not apply.
