Ron Paul is unelectable. Period. So go ahead everyone, vote for him and screw the Republican that actually has a chance. Obama may even send you a "thank you" card.

Fsck the Republicans. They're pieces of shit, just like the Dems. They're the same fsckin' party, and they play all the retards like a fiddle so they can stay in power. Voting for some asshole because they have a "better" chance of being elected is about the stupidest thing in the world. If you aren't going to vote for the best person, you might as well stay home. There's enough people willing to fsck us over without adding to the count. Anyone is electable. It's a question of standing up, and doing the right thing....

Paul is getting too bogged down in the details lately. He keeps going on about how "abortion is the most important issue we face" and keeps harping on about how he doesn't believe in evolution which doesn't sit well for a lot of Americans. He needs to stay focused on the one thing that botht he left, right,a nd independent voters can agree on: That we have been robbed and that it's time to start taking names and kicking ass. But I still don't think he'll actually get elected. I'm voting for hima nd I urge others to as well, not because he will get elected but because it will show in the polls that we are tired of the same 2 party BS. If Ron Paul gets a huge amount of voters they will have to take him seriously in the coming elections.

Yah I can't really stand up for the republicans any more:

Republican official resigns after pic of him bending over and showing his naked behind appears on gay hook-up app

Michele Bachmann on earthquake, hurricane: "I don't know how much God has to do to get the attention of politicians

Court Rules Republicans Who Confiscate Citizens' Cameras At Town Halls Are Violating the First Amendment

The terrifying prospect of the most powerful nation on earth ruled by an anti-science party.

His abortion blather really turns me off and detracts from what would otherwise be a superb set of stances and voting record. I have not yet caught wind of his evolution blather, but it would further detract from any enthusiasm I may have about this cat. No candidate can be perfect though so we'll see where this goes. I don't know who my vote is going to yet. I do love many, many of Paul's outlooks on a great number of issues though. Defense, state rights, constitutional adherence, War on Drugs, foreign policy, international conflict, the list goes on.

Yeah, those two issues alone are enough for me to pass on him (and any repubs for that matter)

Exactly. I don't believe in Evolution, I believe in a 7 day literal Biblical creation, when I vote I don't go vote for people who always line up exactly with my opinions, I vote for people who are going to fix the country. I don't care if the candidate is a Satanist, if he's going to do something to ensure a future for my daughter, that's ALL that matters. Not voting for someone because they don't like abortion or believe in God is total BS. It's a copout, and it's approaches like this that are going to let NObama back in office.

Yeah, I am pretty much pro-abortion because of most of the sheep I see in public environments and dont really care if we were a intelligent creation of a alien God or a science fluke. Those are all old tricks of I like Red and you like BLue

The only thing I know is we are alive in this space and time with a candidate who is actually taking on the "BIG GUNS" (FED and MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX) while veryone else including lord Obama/the rest are still playing the masse's of "Yes we still can" and "No! you cannot because I can".

                        !!When neither can!!

This really is a golden opportunity for a non-establishment candidate and that should be the end of discussion after BUSH/OBAMA.

Do consider a vote for him if the time comes.

I came across this on the internet today and it seems to partially fit the discussion. I don't know how accurate it is but it's worth a gander:

That's a pretty good map ROO. Interesting that the East Euro countries are lower on the list because religion is not very dominant at all after Communism. My only wild guess is that their has always been a strong spiritual connection through music, art, ancestry that involves nature/farming/paganism. Many of the old pagan embroidery/designs of those countries are strangely similar to the native american stuff.

I'll be honest, I really really really cant take someone serious if they don't believe in evolution (as a political candidate that is). I mean I knew Paul felt this way but he wasn't real vocal about it so I was like "Ok to each their own, no big deal", but to make this like a central issue is something that will make me very reluctant to vote for him. I mean if we are to change things we need to have someone who is based firmly in reality and not making decisions based of, well, anything but facts.

I understand the anti-abortion camps stances because if you truly believe that abortion is the killing of a child, than you would be nothing short of a monster to not decry this mass ongoing infanticide at every moment. So I can see where their furor comes from. But to be anti-evolution you have to really do a lot of mental gymnastics to get around what we observe to be happening on the earth around us. I mean evolution can be proven in a lab, it can be observed in the wild, the fossils are there to prove it happened in the past, I mean there are few scientific theories with than much direct evidence and support. This isn't some new discovery that is still open for interpretation, this is something we have been pretty solid on for several hundred years now.

Well, the way I see it we need someone with core American values, that'll uphold our rights. In the end, it doesn't matter what someone believes regarding evolution. That's just trivia as far as national politics goes. We need someone who isn't going to war with the world, or spending us into oblivion. As long as the basic principles are in place, there's advisors for the rest.
